More changes today!  Since we've been having such good luck with skipping the early entry days and nights, we decided to hit Magic Kingdom today instead of tomorrow for Early Magic Hours.   Kristen was still not feeling well so decided to sleep in while I took the girls.  We headed down and caught the bus and were on our way.  We arrived shortly after 8:30am so we had a bit of a wait but found a good shady spot to wait for the opening show.  We were actually in a good spot to watch it this year so I took a few pictures.

Then it was off into the park and up main street.  The girls had decided to skip Fantasyland (they grow up so FAST!  Sniff!) and we headed to the Race Cars first.   Nice to ride this one with NO line and then we continued into Tomorrowland.  We grabbed some Space Mountain fast passes and then hit Buzz, Transit Authority and the Carousel of Progress.  It was getting VERY hot today and the CM in the CoP said it was supposed to be over 100 with adjusted temps feeling like 110!  Yikes!  (I never think it felt THAT hot, but it was pretty darn toasty out there!)

We hadn't eatten any breakfast so we grabbed some cream cheese pretzels at the Lunching Pad.  Brinn discovered she does NOT like these and grabbed some chips instead.  Dad's are SO easy where breakfast foods are concerned...  :-D   Then it was time for our fastpass to Space Mountain.  We had a good ride on the left side today, and Brinn hardly even gets nervous now.  The kid is really getting used to these rides!  ;-)

After that we headed over toward Frontierland.  LONG waits for Big Thunder and Splash, so I left it up to the kids and BOTH picked splash for some fast passes.  Wow.  THAT was unexpected, but Brinn and I had ridden Big thunder the night before.  And Brinn is finally past her Splash fears!  She still plays it up mind you, but she rides...  ;-)

More time to kill.  First we ride pirates with its nice long air conditioned quete.  Then we decide to get lunch, and *I* want the noodle station.  We go ALL across the park, and get there and its CLOSED!!!!  ARG!!!!!   Only open 5-9pm.

Grrrrrrr.  I tell the girls I'm hot and going back to the resort.  They don't complain much but its just a detour to catch the train back to Frontierland.  :-)  There we grab lunch at the taco place (forgot name! I feel shame...)  and I have a taco salad, Maddy the taco's and Brinn the quesadias.  All are good and their is just enough a/c in there to be comfortable while we eat.   NOW its time for Splash and we go to the Fast Pass entrance.  SOMETHING is not going well, and I think the ride had been down for a while but was working now.  The FP line was ALL the way back to the entrance.  Still - it moved pretty quickly and took around 20 minutes or so.  The Standby line had to be REALLY REALLY slow...  :-O  Can't imagine!

So, we were eventually off on our ride and it was a fun one.  The girls were in a car in front of me, and I just had to hold on to Brinn's shoulder to keep her panic in check!  ;-)  We had fun and THEY got a lot wetter than I did!  Yay!  :-D  We then grabbed the train back to the entrance and headed on out of the park.  The girls had to go back into Main Street to say goodbye since this was our last visit to the Magic Kingdom for this visit.  We got a few pictures and even ran into Jiminy Cricket before we left!  How cool was that!?  They had never seen Jiminy before except in parades/shows.

After that it was hot and time to head back, check on mom and grab some quiet time.   Tonight we enjoy dinner at Le Cellier and have just a bit of time to explore Epcot.

Kristen had slept the entire time we were gone, but got up and felt a bit better.   The girls had been up really late the night before (as had I) and were tired.  So we all took a nap while mom fell asleep AGAIN on the couch!   We woke up around 4:30 to get ready for dinner and head for Epcot.

Tonight we eat at Le Cellier - a family favorite!   We zip through the bag check and turnstiles and have time to walk around the stores in the UK and Canada before we go into Le Cellier.  Due to some mixup with checkin they kept seating others WAY past our turn until I finally said something.  We were finally seated and just a BIT concerned tonight might be another Epcot dinner downer.  But no fear.  The waiter was very good at his job and the food was excellent as we hoped.  Cheese soup?  GREAT!  Prime rib and steaks?  GREAT!  Breadsticks!  YUM!   Another excellent Le Cellier meal was had by all.

Since we were seated almost 30 minutes after the scheduled reservation, we had lost quite a bit of park time.  We only had like 45 minutes, so we were only able to hit the Outpost, Germany, Italy and America.  We'll have to do France, Morocco and Japan tomorrow night.  We caught most of Illuminations while walking around the lake, and hit the International Gateway just ahead of the crowds.  Back to the resort with enough time for a nice night swim in the quiet pool.   There were still a large number of swimmers as the temps were still pretty darn warm.  Then it was back to the room for a good night sleep.  Goodnight!
