Girls in the UKI was up by 6:30 to get ready and had Brinn get in the shower by 6:55. Got the other two up just past 7am, and we were AT the International Gateway by 7:45! Not too shabby – these girls can get ready fast when they want to! :-)

They didn’t let us in until just after 8am, so if you are going this way, shoot for an 8am arrival time. After we entered the park, it was pretty much ours. A few maintenance CM’s were around, but not a ton. And we love getting a few pictures in the empty UK and Canada. Onward to Norway and we checked in. We ended up being called up first for some reason (about the 4th to checkin I think) so we were at the head of the line to see Belle. They have you meet with her first in a special area and she wears her yellow ball gown. There is a photopass photographer there, but keep that photopass card put away. These pictures are only part of the $32 package they like to sell you. We stuck with the pictures we took ourselves, thank you very much! ;-)

Girls in NorwayAfter that, we were seated near where the princesses come out, and our server got our drink orders. They have changed this meal a bit since our last visit. Now the starters are on a buffet line. There you can get your plate and choices of fruit, Danish, cheese, even smoked salmon. Nice to take exactly what you want and leave what you don’t want. A good change.

Then platters of eggs, potatoes (awesome!), bacon and sausage are brought out. You can ask for more platters as needed – no problem. And the princesses started coming out just as we got our platter. First was Aurora – Maddy was VERY pleased. Next was Jasmine. Brinn’s turn to be shining! Then Ariel and Mulan. All were great and while a bit rushed, still fun to see. The girls LOVED their favorites, but seeing Ariel with legs is also a special treat. We did not think she did breakfast.

After finishing up and paying the bill it was back into the park and the heat! Its another scorcher and Brinn and I ran across the park for Soarin’ Fast Passes and then back to Test Track to meet Kristen and Maddy. We were MOST hot by then, and the A/C in Test Track was very welcome. The wait was only 20 minutes, so that wasn’t bad, and gave me time to cool down a bit. The ride was great as always – we all love Test Track.

After that we wanted to get to the Living Seas before it got too busy. We took short cuts through Mouse Gear, then Ice Station Cool (mmmm, Beverly!)  :-P and then through the Character Connection building. Gotta love A/C filled routes. :-D

Outside for a bit over to The Seas with Nemo and friends. This has undergone quite a chance since our last visit. And for the better I think. The queue for the shell ride was nicely themed. The Shell ride was fun and I loved how they put the Nemo Characters into the real aquarium. Nicely done! Then you are in the main base. Very good. No hydrolaters. No big rooms with long waits. MUCH BETTER.

We headed for the Crush show and waited about 15 minutes for that. Very funny as always. Then we stopped in the shark room for some pictures, and then off to fish watch at the aquarium viewing areas. Saw some dolphins playing which was fun, and there seem to be a great many more fish than our last visit as well. Good to see it busy in there again!

We finished up in here and headed back into the heat. Time to go to the Land and ride Soarin’. This is another family favorite, and we love it. There was a 90 minute standby wait at 12:30, and even the fast pass line took a bit to get through. This one loads a bit slower, but is worth the wait. (OK – maybe not 90 minutes, but 15 or 20 was no problem!)

We could ride that one again and again, but no way with these wait times! ;-) So over to the Living with the Land boat ride. Only a 20 minute wait and it moves quickly. We always enjoy this, and they had some neat things in the greenhouse as they always do.

It was probably 1:30 or so and while not starved, we were a bit hungry. So we grabbed some counter service there in the Land. Nice choices and great food. Would definitely eat here again. After that we headed off to see Figment. Sent off a couple email postcards after that and then found a way to cool off near the jumping fountains.  :-D   Check out the pictures below...

Its getting brutally hot now, and so we decide to head back. I’m going to lounge in the room a bit and get out of that midday sun, while the girls hit the pool. Have to love the nice easy days with nothing structured planned for the rest of the day... :-)

After I cooled of and relaxed inside it was time to head for the pool. I found the girls pretty quickly and then we had fun swimming and using the slide. For dinner we decided to just do counter service at Hurricane Hannah’s. That was plenty, and when we were finished we took the girls over to the Pearl Factory so they could choose their yearly pearl. They both chose an oyster, and the pearls were almost identical! 7mm and white –so we decided that having two so similar would make nice earrings. We chose simple studs and the girls will share them. Sometime.. Since Maddy let her ears close over she wants nothing to do with getting her ears pierced. But we figure that will change as she gets older! For now, Brinn has a nice set of earrings for special occasions. ;-)

After that it was back to the pool again. The girls love swimming at night, and in Stormalong Bay its even better. The pool is open tonight until 11:30pm! That is NOT usually the case, so we’re taking advantage of it. Not sure why so late, but we aren’t complaining.

We stayed out until 9:30 or so and then headed in. Checking over the schedule we decided on another change for tomorrow. We going to head to SeaWorld instead of another AK day right now. So off to sleep for a fairly early rise!

Fountain Fun

ACK - its gonna soak me!

I'm doomed...

OK - Maddy - relax already - it missed!

No problem - missed me by a mile!

OK - THIS is the right spot! Direct Hit!

That's enough, tip forward to let rest go by!

Oh man - what a splash!

All cooled off now!
(Guy in background was laughing like crazy as they did this!)

Even better - Maddy's reaction as Brinn got splashed!

Boo Ya!  Nice sis!

Oh man - I flinch even when it isn't me!
