I woke up around 6am, and headed out onto the balcony to enjoy the morning.  Its hot already, so I know its going to be another blistering day.  Woke the girls up around 7am to catch the boat to Disney Studios (I'll still call it MGM every so often, so bare with me)  a bit after 8.  There was quite a line, so I had a felling we were late for Extra Magic Hours in the morning.  Disney was changing things again, so everyone recheck hours when you get here.

Maddy goes on a speeder rideWe arrived about 25 after, and while we were late, it wasn't terrible.  Maddy and I went off to grab a Fast Pass for Rockin' Roller (RnR) and then checked Tower of Terror (ToT) but the wait was already posted at 40 minutes, and the line quite long.  Kristen and Brinn had headed to the Great Movie Ride so we changed plans, and headed there as well.  Good choice - it was a walk-on.  We met up with Kristen and Brinn at Starring Roles for a bite of breakfast.  Good cinnamon buns here!  They have changed it a bit so that now you grab a tray, plates, and select what you want (for the most part) yourself.

As we finished up it was time for RnR - the fast pass time was 9:05 so we didn't have a long wait.  Went to grab fast passes for ToT and the machines were still covered and down.  Rats!  We are NEVER going to get on this ride, and Maddy is having a fit!  Brinn just smiles and knows we can't bug her to go on it if we don't get fast passes!  ;-)

Brinn goes on a speeder rideOn to RnR and a great ride.  The Fast Pass line was fairly long, and even longer as we got through it.  They were not taking many from the Standby line, so that had to be taking forever...  Maddy wasn't too keen at first about riding this again, but I told her I'd go with her and hold her hand and she was fine.  We were quickly through the line and loading in our car.   Brinn loves this one and Maddy was getting excited again too.   She was fine all the way through, and had big smiles as we returned.  Another new favorite.  I think she did better this time because she knew what to expect.  The loops threw her the first time.

Cooling off in the 'Shrunk' PlaygroundOK - back to the ToT Fast Pass machines, and yea, they are on!  Grab some Fast Passes for just past 10 and then head off to do other things.  We kept trying to do the Ariel show, but kept missing it by just a bit.   I went off and picked up Fast Passes for the Stunt show (t
hese are nice because you can already have Fast Passes, or get another fastpass while holding these).   Met back up with the girls in One Man's Dream and enjoyed looking through all the old Disney items in nice cool comfort.  It was VERY hot again today.  This is our hottest trip by far this year.  Anything with A/C or and air-conditioned waiting area wins!  ;-)  The kids have taken to calling our passing through stores as often as possible and 'cool-cuts'.  :-)

Fun with Jojo and GoliathAfter watching the movie about Walt, we headed back out onto Mickey Ave.  We saw Jojo and Goliath, Donald and even Sorcerer Mickey.  (Another nice inside wait for Mickey.... ahhhhh).  All three had pretty short waits, and returned quickly from breaks.  It looked as if Millionaire was closed today.  I saw no line at all, and some things were covered...  Too bad - we enjoy watching/playing this one.

Pic with Sorcerer MickeyTaking it really easy today, and slowly.  We were in our ToT Fastpass window, and I stopped back at Voyage of the Little Mermaid but the return time was the same as the Stunt show...  Have to try later.

Kristen and Brinn headed off to do some shopping while Maddy and I worked our way back to ToT.
Maddy and Daddy hit Tower of TerrorStopped for a Photopass pic in front of the ToT and then headed on down.  Maddy knew we had two sets of FastPasses since Kristen and Brinn didn't want to come.  She had been going on about doing ToT twice, but as we approached and the screams became easy to hear, she started to prepare me that only ONE ride would probably be enough!  ;-)

FastPass was awesome for this ride.  Took us right to the front past over an hour standby wait.  The boiler room wait was fairly backed up, but moving along pretty quickly.  I'd say a 10 minute wait total.
Special Guest Appearance by Herbie!Soon we were on the elevator, and in row two - middle, right in the front.  Wow.  Pretty intense right here!  :-)

Maddy did great, but the scary parts BEFORE the drop kind of spooked her.  She had forgotten about these I guess, and clung a bit close.  Then the drops.
They seemed to go on forever.  Up/down - up/down.  It was great!!!  This part she loved and so did I!  oops, Herbie has an accident! She was all smiles as we excited, but still that was enough.  No second time so we found a young couple headed for the FastPass machines and spread a little magic.  They were glad for saving the wait time, and the woman asked Maddy about the ride because SHE was a bit scared to go on.  Maddy said it was fun, but we all laughed that once was enough.  ;-)

Stunt ShowWe quickly found Kristen and Brinn waiting for us at the end of a row of shops, and headed back up Sunset Blvd.   We were ALL getting very overheated, and I'm really glad Disney lowered the water prices to $2.00 per bottle, because we have been buying a LOT of it!   We worked out way back toward the Stunt Show area and stopped in the Honey I Shrunk the kids play area until it was time to leave for the Stunt show.   Grabbed more water and headed over to the stadium.  I was surprised to see that many of the Osbourne lights were still up.  Guess they are saving money by keeping these in place all year.

Stunt ShowThe Fast Pass line for the Stunt Show was moving along pretty good - they let all the Fast Passers in first.  We were there probably by 12:30 and the FP line was long and when we reached the stadium we were WAY at the top there were so many people in front of us.  No problem though.  The view was really good from up there.  Made it easy to see all the action.  I liked the show, there was a lot going on, and happening pretty quickly.  The girls thought it was just OK, and I don't think Brinn really cared for it at all.   Maddy enjoyed it though.

That was it.  We really just had the Ariel show that we'd still like to do, but we were cooked.  Time for a break.  We are headed to Epcot in the evening, so a bit of a nap is in order.  The girls stopped at Beaches and Cream for a quick lunch but I headed right to the room.  I wasn't hungry at all, and just grabbed a bagel in the room.  Much better once I cooled off and we all took a rest.

Epcot World ShowcaseAfter awakening from our nap we all got ready and headed over to Epcot.  We felt better after a short rest, and while it was still pretty hot outside, it was nothing like the midday heat.  It was just before 6pm, and we had reservations at Marakeesh at 6:30.  We entered through the International Gateway and headed toward Morocco.  We spent some time looking around the shops in Morocco, and then headed back to the restaurant where we were quickly seated.  It was not too busy yet, so we asked for a table right next to the dance floor.

Dancer in Restaurant MarakeeshWe enjoyed a very good dinner, and while the girls just had chicken tenders, Kristen and I enjoyed the Marakeesh Feast.  I enjoyed everything, and Kristen liked most everything.  Even the sampler desserts were delicious!  Around the middle of our meal the musicians came out and started playing.
IlluminationsThey were very good and a bit later the belly dancer came out to dance.  At one point she tried to get Brinn to come out, but Brinn was too shy.  She was much happier watching.  :-)

IlluminationsAfter leaving the restaurant, we decided to split up.  Maddy and Kristen were headed back to the resort for a swim, and Brinn and I would stay in Epcot and watch Illuminations.  Maddy is not a big fan of Fireworks, and really wanted that swim.  Brinn wanted to see Illuminations, and we even got to fit in the American Adventure show before finding a spot to see the fireworks.  This was the first time we worked in this show, and it is very well done.

Morocco at nightThen outside to find a spot.  I found a place along the water between Italy and the American Pavilion.  We had a tree in our back, but it had a GREAT view, and a railing to hold my camera.  I got a few good pictures, and we really enjoyed the show.

Then we walked back to BCV.  We took it slow and snapped nighttime pics of whatever caught our eye.  After getting back to BCV Brinn wanted that nighttime swim as well.  So we quickly changed and headed down to the quiet pool.  The water was very warm (think bath) and there were actually quite a few people there.  We still had fun, and even tried out the Jacuzzi.  It was hot, and after spending a few minutes in there the main pool 'seemed' cooler.  :-)

Mexico at NightBack inside for a good nights sleep.  The girls have a Pirate Cruise in the morning, and I'm pretty sure SammieG, BillJ and families will have their children on the same cruise.  It will be great to meet them!
