After
watching the movie
about Walt, we headed back out onto Mickey Ave. We saw Jojo and
Goliath, Donald and even Sorcerer Mickey. (Another nice inside
wait
for Mickey.... ahhhhh). All three had pretty short waits, and
returned
quickly from breaks. It looked as if Millionaire was closed
today. I
saw no line at all, and some things were covered... Too bad - we
enjoy
watching/playing this one.
Taking
it really easy today, and slowly. We were in our ToT
Fastpass
window, and I stopped back at Voyage of the Little Mermaid but the
return time was the same as the Stunt show... Have to try later.
Kristen and Brinn headed off to do some shopping while Maddy and I
worked our way back to ToT. Stopped for a Photopass pic in
front of
the ToT and then headed on down. Maddy knew we had two sets of
FastPasses since Kristen and Brinn didn't want to come. She had
been
going on about doing ToT twice, but as we approached and the screams
became easy to hear, she started to prepare me that only ONE ride would
probably be enough! ;-)
FastPass was awesome for this ride. Took us right to the
front
past
over an hour standby wait. The boiler room wait was fairly backed
up,
but moving along pretty quickly. I'd say a 10 minute wait
total. Soon
we were on the elevator, and in row two - middle, right in the
front.
Wow. Pretty intense right here! :-)
Maddy did great,
but the scary
parts BEFORE the drop kind of spooked her. She had forgotten
about
these I guess, and clung a bit close. Then the drops. They
seemed to
go on forever. Up/down - up/down. It was great!!!
This part she
loved and so did I! She was all smiles
as we excited, but still
that
was enough. No second time so we found a young couple headed for
the
FastPass machines and spread a little magic. They were glad for
saving
the wait time, and the woman asked Maddy about the ride because SHE was
a bit scared to go on. Maddy said it was fun, but we all laughed
that
once was enough. ;-)
We quickly found Kristen and Brinn waiting for us at the
end of a row
of shops, and headed back up Sunset Blvd. We were ALL
getting very
overheated, and I'm really glad Disney lowered the water prices to
$2.00 per bottle, because we have been buying a LOT of it!
We worked
out way back toward the Stunt Show area and stopped in the Honey I
Shrunk the kids play area until it was time to leave for the Stunt
show. Grabbed more water and headed over to the
stadium. I was
surprised to see that many of the Osbourne lights were still up.
Guess
they are saving money by keeping these in place all year.
The Fast Pass line for the Stunt Show was moving along
pretty good -
they let all the Fast Passers in first. We were there probably by
12:30 and the FP line was long and when we reached the stadium we were
WAY at the top there were so many people in front of us. No
problem
though. The view was really good from up there. Made it
easy to see
all the action. I liked the show, there was a lot going on, and
happening pretty quickly. The girls thought it was just OK, and I
don't think Brinn really cared for it at all. Maddy enjoyed
it though.
That was it. We really just had the Ariel show that we'd still
like to
do, but we were cooked. Time for a break. We are headed to
Epcot in
the evening, so a bit of a nap is in order. The girls stopped at
Beaches and Cream for a quick lunch but I headed right to the
room. I
wasn't hungry at all, and just grabbed a bagel in the room. Much
better once I cooled off and we all took a rest. |
