Palo BrunchI was up around 6am so I headed out to see the ship with camera and tripod in hand.   Its a great time to get pictures because most everyone is still asleep!  Spent a bit of time on the top deck, and then went to get the girls around 9am.  The pool was still pretty empty, and it would be a good time to do some swimming without there being TONS of people.  The girls liked this idea, and we headed up to the goofy pool to get started.  Today we are moving along pretty fast and there is a bit of motion, so the pool keeps getting 'waves' going back and forth every so often.   The kids acutally love the effect!  Kristen took Maddy over for some Mickey Pool and Slide time and I stayed with Brinn.  We only had about an hour because today is our Palo Brunch so we have to get ready soon.

Headed back to the room after a little more swimming and got ourselves ready.  The girls get to have lunch with the Oceanears Club and then learn to be a pirate!  We dropped them off shortly before our reservation, and then headed up to deck 10.  Palo is all the way aft, and has a nice view off the back of the ship.  We were greeted at the door with a nice glass of champagne and quickly taken to our window table.  Very nice.  Our server Louise was by quickly and took us on a tour of the buffet areas.  The center section was wonderful with mounds of crab and shrimp along with MANY other wonderful smoked meats, and gourmet selections.  Another area included many fruits and cheeses, while another contained wonderful pastries.  She of course, showed us the dessert area (YUM!), and then the hot food selections.  Specialty flat bread pizza's, Breakfast times, and then lunch items.  All looked wonderful!

She left us with plates and sent us on our way.  The shrimp was wonderful, as were many of the other items.  We tried to not fill up too heavily because we ordered a flatbread pizza to share and then our main course.  Kristen opted for an omelet while I went for lunch and the tenderloin.  Both were delicious, but the tenderloin was amazing!  It just melted in your mouth!  :-)  The flatbread pizza was very good as well.  Kristen wanted to order the dessert pizza, but while waiting for that we tried several other desserts as well.  We only each tried a bit of the dessert pizza (very good!) before we could NOT eat another bite!  Time to roll on back to the cabin!!!  Louise was wonderful throughout the entire meal, and we hope to have her again on Thursday when we return for dinner.

Girls with AliceWell, the kids are busy being a pirate, so mom and dad had some free time to relax.  Headed back to the cabin and enjoyed the verandah, and just relaxing in some nice peace and quiet.  Just before 2pm we headed down to get the girls.  They did NOT want to leave, but we talked them into it since we were off to see the matinee of Hercules the Museical.  They were getting so tired at night, that we wanted to do the show early if possible.  It was very cute, and I really liked it.  The girls decided they were glad they left to see it.  :-)  Off to shutters to checkout more pictures.  You  could spend 10 fortunes on all these!  We are trying to be choosy, but so many come out great!  We whittled down the list as best we could.  :-)

Girls with PocahontasTime for Bingo and the whole family wants to play today.  Well, be there anyway!  I'm only getting one pack at $35 a pop!  But the girls loved playing on the 'old' cards by game 2 and 3.  ;-)  And didn't really know the difference.   No better luck today, but I left with the solace that I spent $35 and brought free soda from deck 9.  The guy in front of me in line bought $250 worth of bingo cards alone!!!  And I did NOT see his table win.  OUCH!

Time to get ready for dinner.  This will be our first night at Lumiere's.  It was very nice here, and would be a perfect setting for formal night.
Cool Lobster CritterWe'll be missing our second seating here since we have Palo reservations that night.  Wonderful dinner followed by us tracking down a few character pictures.  Back to the cabin fairly early and in bed before 9pm!  The kids needed the sleep, and so did mom and dad.  We were all getting tired by then!  Tomorrow its St. Maarten!  Land HOOOOOOO!
