Our Carriage Awaits!Up and at em early today.  We have an 8:30 PS for the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway in the Epcot World Showcase.  Another grey and drizzly day, so we donned our much used ponchos and headed off to Epcot.  We decided to hoof it this morning since no boat was in sight, and we didn't leave much extra time.   Its a nice walk, and it was fairly cool this morning.   Zipped through the bag check and off to the ticket gate, where they checked our name on the PS list.  And we weren't on it!  Uh-oh...  Dig out that confirmation number, but didn't need it.  Turned out the CM had been given the wrong list!  Jasmine is here!!!This one was for Cape May Cafe, so he let us in no problem.  We walked just past Canada when a small shuttle pulled up and offered us a ride.  Nice!  We felt like VIPs all the way to Norway!  (and passed several families that looked a bit jealous trudging along in the light rain.)

and Aurora Too!We checked in and then waited until just past 8:30 for them to start seating everyone.  We were seated in the first area the princesses visit and they came out around the same time as our skillet of breakfast foods.  Today we had Snow White, Belle, Mulan, Jasmine and Aurora!  (with Jasmine as Brinn's continued favorite and Aurora as Madison's.   Jasmine was once again 'OUR' Jasmine, and great as always, although we didn't get any special invitations to meet her later today!  ;-)  Aurora was especially nice this morning, and very friendly with the girls.  Brinn and Maddy ate almost NO breakfast.  They were too excited I guess.  But they loved seeing the princesses, and we all had fun.

Nemo! Now it was time to head out and back into Future World.  We headed over and got fastpasses for Test Track and then headed to the Imagination Pavilion to see Figment and play in the Kodak center.  Then it was off to the Living Seas where we checked out the new Nemo display outside (and inside) and even ran into Nemo while we were there.  They have added a nice Nemo themed room, and the girls were quite excited to see all the Nemo and Dory-like fish.  As well as Jellyfish and seahorses - etc.   Off to look in the big tank for the dolphins, but they were not too visible today.  We'll have to wait for Sea World since its time to get back to ride Test Track.   I picked up some Mission Space Fast Passes on the way, and the rain was continuing to fall.  When we got to Test Track it had been closed for a bit due to some technical difficulties, so we sat down to wait a few minutes and heard it start to run.  Soon the line started to move, and they let in the fast pass people and then the regular line.  Nemo Display near Living SeasBy the time our car started racing around the track the rain had stopped for a bit, which was good because I think that rain would have hurt at the high speeds.  The girls loved it, and wanted to ride again, but the line was too long to wait for.  We went off and had an ice cream treat and then it was time for Mission Space.  Fast Pass got us on in just a few minutes, and it was a great ride.  Maddy didn't like it too much, but Brinn really loved it this time.  She got into pushing the buttons, and was excited to be the Commander.  I told her she was in charge of everyone.  :-)  She wanted to ride again, but the line here was way too long too.  Gotta love those Fast Passes!

Girls in front of the castleWe were getting tired, and headed back to the room just as the weather started clearing up.  Figures!  :-)  After a nice nap, we headed to the Magic Kingdom.  Tonight we watch SpectroMagic and Wishes!   As we entered the park there were a bunch of characters out, and I think the girls managed to get the entire cast of Robin Hood - Even Little John whom I had not seen before.  We also saw Daisy who the girls just love  to see.  Oh - and King Louie.  They like him as well.  They would have loved to have seen them all, but they stopped letting people in the lines.

So, it was off toward the Castle where Cinderella's Surprise Celebration was JUST started.
Maddy on the CarouselOn the bus over the driver told us they had just extended the park hours until 11pm (from 10pm), and we could see why.  MAN was this park packed!!!  I've never seen it so crowded, and that includes Christmas week.   We shoehorned into a spot and watched the show.  They really do a great job with this one, and I noticed had changed it a bit to use a few more fireworks here and there.   I ran to Big Thunder for fast passes (with a 7:40 return time at 5pm!)  It was a MADHOUSE over there.  Splash Mountain had a return time of 9:50pm and again - it was wall to wall people.

new friend katie during SpectroMagic ParadeWorked my way back to the castle hub and found the girls waiting on a bench.  We headed off for Tomorrowland where we intended to use Madision certificate from last year when she was too short to ride.  They had let us in the first part of the line, but bounced us at final boarding.  So Madison had received a Certificate to again next trip and it worked just like a Fast Pass.  They even let us keep the certificate, just wrote on the back that it had been redeemed.  Brinn made it through the line, but chickened out at the last minute.  She has in her head that she does not like this ride, and doesn't want to try again.  Maddy on the other hand has wanted to ride for ages, and so she and I got on to ride.  Kristen decided to pass with Brinn since she finds this coaster a bit jerky.  I didn't know until the ride was done whether or not Maddy liked it, but I was relieved to hear her saying how great it was when we got off.  She LOVED it, and its a new favorite.  We hope to do it again later this week.  Maybe she can even convince her sister that its OK.  :-)

Wishes!Next we did Transit Authority and then on to the Carousel of Progress.  I'm glad the girls like this one.  Brinn really likes seeing how things have changed since 1900 and always asks lots of questions.  Maddy just thinks its cool that the theatre turns!  ;-)

Starting to get hungry, and its almost time for our 7:40 Big Thunder return time.  Headed off to try Pecos Bill's for dinner.  This was our first time eating here, and it was good.  Loved the fixin's bar and there was lots of seating.   The kids hot dogs are huge-mongous, and we should have just gotten one kids meal.  We'll know better next time.   Used up the last of my Disney Rewards card here and had a whole $1 left on it!  ;-)  It really was nice paying for so many meals with rewards dollars.  I'll have to do this every year!

OK - time for Big Thunder.  We were well into our hour fast pass window, as it was about 8:15 or so.  There was a 90 minute wait when we headed in, but Fast Pass had us on the train in less than 5 minutes.   We headed into Frontierland and stopped in the first place we found where we could have front row seating for Spectromagic.  It was might slim pickens already, as almost every spot was already taken.  We found a slot right next to a cross walk and plopped down to wait.  The girls made friends with a little girl named Katie, and they enjoyed each other's company until the parade started.  Then Katie sat between them to watch the parade.  It was great as always, and I even got a few decent picture of it this year.  :-)

Nighttime CastleSaid our goodbyes to Katie and her family and then headed into the Castle hub for a fireworks spot.  It was wall to wall people.  I've never seen anything like it!  We found a standing spot along side everyone else, and waited for Wishes to begin.  Maddy still doesn't like fireworks and hid with her fingers in her ears for most of the show.  I picked Brinn up so she could see a bit better (Maddy wanted NO part of being picked up!) ;-)  and she really liked it.  It's a great fireworks show, but they have changed it since December.  They no longer shot off the fireworks all around you for the finale.  I really liked that, and hope it comes back.

Looking up MainstreetWhile much of the crowd headed toward the exit, we headed to Fantasyland.  There we zipped into Mickey's Philharmagic and waited for the next show.  The girls LOVED it (and up until now their had been thrilled with the 3D movies.  It really is very well done, and we all left smiling.  There was still a bit of time left, so we rode the Carousel and then JUST made Winnie the Pooh before the 11pm closing.  There were still TONS of people in the park, and it was tough going down Main Street.  We finally worked our way out of the park and the Boardwalk/YC/BC bus was not too bad.  It also stopped at Swan/Dolphin, so we got off there and walked back to the room over the bridge.  Tomorrow is a pool day, and everyone can sleep in.  And that is exactly what we plan to do!
