This has started to become a tradition of sorts. We’ll do MK early entry our second week, and Kristen decides to stay and sleep in a bit and meet us later. We have a late breakfast at Crystal Palace today, and she will get to the park in time to make it to that.

The girls are also a bit slow getting started, but after we get out of the room they are doing better. We JUST made the bus having to run to the bus stop when I saw it pulling up. Whew! It was pretty crowded after we stopped at the Boardwalk, but soon we were at the MK and through the bag check. We were pretty early, so after they started letting folks through the turnstiles we ended up right in front of the rope.

Lots of fun as a couple characters came out to say hi. We saw the fox and cat from Pinocchio and later Pinocchio and Geppetto as well. They were fun, and played a bit with the crowds and people waiting. *I* got pulled out of line by Geppetto and turned to face the crowd. He placed first one hand on my head, then the other... then proceeded to tickle me under the arms... While I didn’t loose it laughing or anything, I did offer a warning that this was a DANGEROUS game to play in August in Florida! :-D He seemed to understand and agree! ;-) Good thing it was early in the morning still!

They made us promise to not take off and then took down our rope. Bwahahahahaa..   But we were good and only took off after they said we could. :-) We continued our traditional pathway straight to fantasyland and the walkway through the castle was open today. We were pretty much first ones there, but they dropped the second rope JUST before we got there and a mom pulling along her daughter bolted out of line and over to Tinkerbelle’s treasures to wake Tinkerbelle. Our girls have been dying to do this as well, so we followed even if we weren’t first.

The CMs were great and let both families participate. Dad of the other family was a bit unnerved that mom took off though from the talk he gave her when he and a son arrived. ;-) The got to wake up Tinkerbelle, and each received a certificate. It was fun, but nothing to kill yourself over trying to do. I think the girls were under whelmed a bit, but it was still fun.

So, back to Fantasyland and start going on the empty rides. Peter Pan, Snow White, Pooh, Teacups, Space Mountain, Buzz and Transit Authority. Brinn still freaked a bit about Space Mountain, but went. Someday she’ll remember she likes this ride, but I’m not holding my breath!

I got a call from Kristen that she was almost to the park, and we met her walking out of Tomorrowland toward the hub. The castle show was about to start, so the girls and I stood right in front of the stage in full sun to wait! HHHOOOTTTT!!!, but only 5 more minutes to show time. I took about a jillion pictures and it was a good show. The girls liked it, and Kristen had found a good bench to sit on and watch. (She’s a graduate of Moley’s touring school and came out with high honors!) :-D *I’M* the dumb one that stands in full sun for these things. Stupid camera.... ;-)

Castle Forefront Show

We had to leave toward the end of the show since we had a late seating for Crystal Palace as it was, and would be lucky to check in on time, much less 10 minutes early. Still – there was a line when we arrived, and we had to wait a bit before being seated. After spending so much time in full sun, I was glad to be sitting in A/C again. Whew!

They really pack the tables in this place, its tough to find a pathway through. I don’t know how the poor characters can get around without knocking someone’s breakfast off the table! The characters weren’t around, and the waitress told us their visit pattern so we would be sure to be at the table when they came out. We hit the buffet lines, and the food was excellent as always.

They even have a cook to make eggs/omelets now which is nice. Soon the characters did come out and after a parade they started visiting tables. We saw Tigger, Pooh, Piglet but Eeyore was taking forever. I had already paid the bill, and still no Eeyore. So I decided to head for Big Thunder and get some fast passes and then meet the girls in Adventureland. Kristen could get pics of the girls with Eeyore on her camera.

It was getting crowded now, but the return time for BTMRR was only an hour. Not too bad since the wait time was 60 minutes as well! As I headed back through Adventureland I saw that Peter Pan was doing a greet near the exit of Pirates. Brinn REALLY wanted to see him this year so I jumped in line and called Kristen to come meet me. They got there in time, but I had to let a couple families in front of me since they took the long way. Guess I’m lucky they got there at all since I’m the one who knows the way around without a map. They turn the wrong way pretty much every time!

But they made it, and got a picture with Peter. Brinn was happy and then we decided to go on Pirates since we were here. A pretty short wait time (10 minutes) and a nice cool ride after I had to run across the park again. Next we went on the Magic Carpets, and of course it broke down when we were NEXT. They had to restart it about 3 times, and then it started working. I wasn’t THRILLED to be the first to ride it after it was down. I have NO desire to be stuck in this thing in full sun if it decided to get stuck or something. But it worked fine!

After than we cut through to Frontierland and grabbed some water. As we were walking toward Big Thunder the Woody Roundup show started. The girls were asked to participate and each got to pick a wooden horse to ride around during the show. It was fun to watch with lots of songs and dances. Great to be in the right place at the right time. :-D

Then it was on to Big Thunder. We were getting pretty hot and the pool was beckoning again today. The wait was almost 90 minutes now, so those fast passes were like gold! LOVE fastpasses and even this line was a bit backed up.

Still, we were on the ride pretty darn fast compared to the standby line. Another great ride as always, and after that we headed on back to the front of the park to wait for the bus. Did a bit of shopping on Main Street and then out we went. The bus line was pretty long, but it eventually showed up and we all got seats which was good.

When we got back everyone was really tired. Maddy wouldn’t admit it, but even BRINN said she was tired and we decided to all take a short nap. Two and a half hours later we woke up! :-O But we needed the sleep and it helped a great deal. Maddy was in a much better mood, and Brinn as feeling better as well. (Not to mention mom and dad....)

We had no dinner plans, and had one last table service to use. We considered Beaches and Cream but I wanted Cape May Cafe. We checked and they could seat us immediately so we decided to eat there. LOTS of good food and LOTS of great desserts as well. Our waitress was very nice, and always there when we needed her which was good. They were not packed, so it was good to have the server have a few minutes to spend at the table.

After dinner we needed to pack things up since the next night we’d be busy at SeaWorld all day with no time to do it then. I helped for a bit and then I took the girls out to the pool for a swim while mom finished up packing. A nice, quiet night, and we have to be up early tomorrow to drive to SeaWorld again, so a good nights sleep will do us all good.

**OK - the picture of the girls is from Day 13 at Chefs de France , but I needed one in this section and forgot to include this yesterday!  :-D
