Up bright and early for another Magic Kingdom day.   Since this is the kids favorite park, we wanted to spend some more time here, and we hope to run into Jasmine this afternoon.  We caught the 8:30am boat and arrived just before park opening.

We headed back to Fantasy Land and immediately split up.  I took Brinn on Snow White, while Kristen and Maddy got in line for Dumbo.  Maddy did not want to ride Snow White, she wasn't too happy with the darker rides.  Brinn and I walked right on, and enjoyed the ride.  We zipped over to Dumbo, and ended up riding in the same group with Kristen and Maddy!

Next, Brinn wanted to do Peter Pan, and Maddy wanted to ride Winnie the Pooh, so we split up again.  No line at Peter Pan so we zipped right through.  Brinn and I got over to Pooh just as Kristen and Maddy were finishing their ride.  They had been in the same car as Eeyore!  (And I had the camera!  Darnit!)  Maddy was quite excited, and could not share her version of the experience fast enough.  We jumped in line again, (Brinn was hoping she'd get as lucky as Maddy did)  and watched both Tigger and Eeyore exit the ride just before we got on!  :-(    We ended up in Eeyore's just vacated hunny pot and found the pink ribbon from his tail!  The CM running the ride assured the girls she would make sure he got it back again.  :-)

After a fun trip through the 100 Acre Woods, we headed over to the ever popular Teacups.  The girls just can't get enough of this ride.  Brinn switched to Mommy and I rode with Maddy.   After a quick spin, we rejoined at the exit and Brinn informed me that Mommy didn't spin the cup fast enough and she was riding with me next time!  :-)

Just then, Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore came walking up the pathway.  We followed them to a character meet area near the Pooh ride for a few more pictures.  The girls love these characters, and Maddy was excited to see Eeyore again.   We walked over to Ariel's Grotto, and it was already open with a fairly short line.  I had though it opened later in the morning (it was just before 10am)  I really should READ the Times guide...  ;-)  We had to wait a few minutes and then the girls were right in with Ariel.  Got a good picture, but had forgotten the Princess T-Shirts for the autograph.  Oops...  I think Kristen was more upset than the girls were!  Maybe next visit...

It was almost time for the new Cinderlla's Surprise show, so we went over and staked out a good spot right in front of the stage.  Full sun, and blast furnace hot, but the show was great and Kristen got some great pictures while I videotaped.  This is a great show, and I'm glad we made sure to catch it on our last Magic Kingdom day.

Off to TommorrowLand.  We got fastpasses for Buzz Lightyear and then headed on the transit authority (people mover) ride.  Spent some time trying to talk Brinn into riding Space Mountain, but she still wasn't interested.  I knew if she would just try it, she'd love it, but the fact that she would have to sit in front of me really freaked her out.   We wandered until it was time for Buzz.  I did a bit better this time, 178,000 or so.  Still not even near the REALLY big scores of heard about.

We headed off to AdventureLand so I could scratch another 'must do' off the list.   We went straight to the Aloha Isle and ordered some Dole Whip.  It was very hot, and it tasted so good!  We finished up and as we headed toward the Magic Carpet Ride we saw Aladdin and Genie posing for pictures.  (No Jasmine yet).  We got in line and got a picture with both of them, and then off to the Magic Carpet ride.  The girls did this while I headed off to Big Thunder Railroad for some Fastpasses.  We regrouped in the Agrabah store, and then headed toward El Pirata y el Perico for a bite to eat.  Taco's for the girls and Kristen, and a Taco salad for me.  (The salad was pretty good!)  We took our time and then headed over to see if Jasmine would be coming out for autographs.  We hadn't said much to Brinn about it, but she kept asking if it was time to meet Jasmine and go on the Magic Carpet ride yet.   We just hoped she wouldn't bee too disappointed.  It was really starting to cloud up, and we knew the rains would start soon.

We got there at the appointed 1:30 arrival time, but only Genie was there.  It started to sprinkle and we moved under nearby cover and Genie moved under the overhang as well.  We sat and waited and the great CM helping Genie checked backstage and Jasmine was scheduled to show up at 2pm.  We waited and watched Genie until he finally went inside.  It had begun to POUR and a ride on the carpets didn't seem likely at all.  Brinn seemed to understand, but we continued to wait til just past 2pm.   The backstage door opened, and the CM came out to get us.  He took us inside the building where Jasmine and Genie were waiting!!  It was great.  Brinn and Maddy were so excited, and we had both characters to ourselves for at least 15 minutes.   She was wonderful with the girls.  Telling Brinn how she had hung up the picture in the palace, and had told the Sultan and Raja all about Brinn and Madison.  It was very cute and Brinn didn't even mind that the ride didn't work out.   After a wonderful visit we got a couple pictures and the girls gave Jasmine and the Genie a huge hug and passed out CM appreciation cards to everyone.  Jasmine made big of the cards, and the girls were smiling ear to ear as we headed out.  Just another Magical Disney (several) moments!  Daddy needs to write a very nice letter to Disney Personnel when we get home!  :-)  There are several CM's that need to be recognized this trip!

Well, that was fun!  The girls are holding up pretty well, so we decide to stick around for the 3pm parade.   Kristen ran ahead to get fast passes for Space Mountain (because mom and dad love this ride) and I took both girls on the tea cups for a final 'big' spin.  We went over to get a good spot for the parade, and sat down on the curb to wait.  The rain had stopped and it was much cooler with the cloud cover.  Those ponchos come in handy when you have to sit on the wet ground.  The parade was great, and I was able to video tape while Kriten took pictures.   I think I got more video today, than I have all trip.  We all enjoyed the parade and then headed to Space Mountain.  It took a bit more convincing, and a touch of bribery to get Brinn to go on the ride.   She said OK, but started to get scared again as we got in the car.  (Sorry, too late!)  I held her hand over the seat the whole ride, and while she didn't cry, she wasn't thrilled either.  Needless to say, she didn't want to go again with Mommy.

I think she just didn't want to admit that she enjoyed the ride!  :-)

We headed on out of the park and jumped on the monorail for Epcot.   We had several countries we still needed to tour, and started out in Mexico.  We had cancelled our San Angel lunch reservation and decided to stick with the Mexican food theme of the day, and stay for dinner.  They were able to seat us right away (around 4:30 or 5pm).  Dinner was very good, and I love the atmosphere of this restaurant.   We went on the boat ride right after dinner, and this was the first time we have done this.  It was very enjoyable with a zero wait time.

We worked our way around to Italy, again catching the Tapestry of Dreams Parade on the way.  The Masquerade characters were out now, and the girls wanted to get pictures with most of them.  Maddy was scared of the darker characters - she thought they were 'naughty'.  :-)

It was getting late and the girls were wearing way down.  Tomorrow we check in to Portofino Bay, so another busy day.
