It was a tough job getting everyone up
at 7:00 am this morning. Brinn was dragging pretty bad, but we eventually
got her going and into her Jasmine costume. She looked so cute! Madison
wanted nothing to do with dressing up, so she was wearing a princess t-shirt
with a couple princess pins.
Now, they had no idea breakfast was a character meal. Brinn thought
we were just going to look for Jasmine in Morocco after we ate. We
had a 9am priority seating, but got to the International Gateway about 8:20am.
After checking a reservation list, they let us right in. This was
great. We had World Showcase from the gateway to Norway pretty much
to ourselves. Lots of pictures with no people, and we took our time
getting there. When we did arrive we were still early, and they took
us right in. It is very nice inside, and perfect to host the princesses.
The girls still didn't see the characters yet, but were starting to wonder...
They knew something was up. After we had started eating, Belle
came into a room that you could see from our table. The girls saw
her right away, and got very excited. The manager came over and talked
to both of them about seeing the princesses, and he even asked Brinn why
she was sitting there, she was supposed to be up and signing autographs!
:-) They even told us that Jasmine was here today. We
ended up seeing Belle, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Aurora and Jasmine. When
Jasmine finally came into view the girls were VERY excited. Brinn had
eatten next to nothing this morning - I think she was nervous about seeing
Jasmine while wearing her costume. All the Princesses had commented
on how pretty she was, and that Jasmine would love the costume. Jasmine
finally arrived at our table, and she made of Brinn quite a bit. She
was also great with Maddy who loves her too. We got great separate
pictures of both Madison and Brinn with their favorite princess.
(!!Spoiler!! Jasmine turned out to be the same Jasmine as we met
at the castle last year! We had really hoped this would happen, but
did NOT expect it. We had brought a picture of Brinn and her from
last August. Brinn signed it and gave her a copy. It was a nice
added bonus)
After Brinn gave her a picture we took last year, Jasmine said she thought
she remembered us. :-) She asked us if we were going to the
Magic Kingdom again, and invited us to stop by and visit her on Thursday
afternoon. There was even the possibility she could take a spin on
the Magic Carpet ride with the girls! After she left, we played this
down a bit with the girls. We don't want them getting all worked up
over something that might not happen. We will stop by there tomorrow
and see what happens... It was a wonderful time, and we really enjoyed
this new Princess Breakfast. Thanks Disney!!
