We were up and ready in plenty of time to walk over to Epcot this morning.  They did not open the International Gateway until 9am (normal park opening), but if you had an early Princess Storybook breakfast they would let you in.  Our Princess breakfast reservation was not until 10:20am, so we had to wait.

Once open, we headed for Test Track.  Grabbed a Fastpass since it was already very busy and continued on to Body Wars.  The girls waffle on this one.  Sometimes they like it – sometimes not.  Today they didn’t want to do it, but we convinced them, and afterwards they were glad they went.  :-)  Next we played around with all the different hands on displays and then went in to see the Making of Me.  It was pretty cute, and well done for the kids.  Brinn enjoyed it and so did Maddy.

Princess Storybook BreakfastWhen we got out, I realized that while we were in our Fast Pass time frame for Test Track, we had waited too long to do it before Breakfast!  Oops.  So we got more fastpasses and gave our valid set to another family that was about to get fastpasses.  They were happy to get to ride immediately and we didn’t end up wasting any fastpasses, which made me happy.  They go so fast for Test Track.  By 10am the return time was already after 12 noon.

JasmineOff we headed for Norway and our Breakfast with the Princesses.  The line for breakfast was CRAZY.  They were way behind schedule and we ended up waiting until close to 11 am before being seated.  We ended up seeing ALL the Princesses before our breakfast even arrived.  MulanToday it was Jasmine (Brinn’s favorite), Snow White, Aurora, Mulan and Belle.  They were all great today, and made of the girl’s princess pins and really liked the head scarves that Alicia had given them (They really wanted to wear these today, they really like them) :-)  We also have older Autograph books from a couple years ago, and one has Mulan on the cover.  THAT was a big hit!  :-)  Mulan was VERY pleased and said that she had only ever seen it three times!  Last was Belle, and she was very nice as well.  She remembered the girls from previous trips and even invited them to visit her and Beast in France later in the day.  They had a brand new library.  ;-)Belle

After Belle our breakfast arrived and it was pretty good today.  Everything was hot and we all enjoyed it.  It was after the 11:30 opening time before we were done so they were all set up and starting to serve lunch already.  We headed over to Mexico to meet Cheri and her family.  Cheri saw us right away, and called out to Kristen – who forgot we were here for a meet! :-)  She had no idea who was calling her!  :-)

Meet with Cheri and FamilyWe talked to Cheri for a bit until her husband, Ken, and the kids returned from the Mexico boat ride.  It was great to meet everyone and we chatted for a while and then asked someone to take our picture for us.  She did a great job, and we got a good shot of everyone together.  It was time to say goodbye, so we went our separate ways.

MexicoWe looked around Mexico for a bit and took the boat ride.  Then we headed back to Test Track to ride using our Fast Passes.  Even with Fast Pass it took about 20 minutes.  They had a 10 minute shutdown and there were lots of people already in the Fast Pass line.  I can’t imagine how long the normal standby line was taking!  It was fun and the girls really loved it this time.  (Last time Brinn was a bit scared)  Maddy was giggling the whole way through – especially at the end when it goes fast.

Beauty and the BeastToday is also a pool day so we decided to stop by France to see Belle and Beast and then head back.  We also got to see Esmerelda in France, and the girls had not seen her before.  Then it was only a 5 minute wait until Belle and Beast returned from a break (great timing!).  They were a little bit late, but it was worth it to see them together.  Belle remembered the girls immediately, and they had a nice little chat.

CHARACTER SPOILER: Kristen and I confirmed a theory.  THIS Belle was Jasmine last year!  (The one we have met on two previous trips that has been SO sweet to the girls)  I knew she played both parts (I had seen a Belle picture posted that I was sure was her)  and it was great to see her again.  She does a great Belle as well as Jasmine!

Well, it was time to head back to the pool.  It was a hot one today and some pool time was just what the doctored ordered.   We pretty much tried out every section of the pool and Brinn and Mommy got to try out the big slide once each.  Maddy wanted to do the slide, but they won’t let you ride it with floaties or any type of life preservers at all.  You have to be able to swim to the side of the pool yourself.  Gives Maddy incentive to work harder on her swimming this next year!  :-)  We headed back to the sandy area JUST in time for a storm to come up.  There was thunder and lightening, so they kicked us right out of the pool as well as chased us out of the pool area all together.

BCV Entrance We took the opportunity to have a nap and then we could go over and see Illuminations.  I called and got a late dinner reservation (7:50 was the earliest available) at Cape May Cafe for the nightly clam bake.  After waking up and getting ready we did some shopping in the resort store and then headed to check in at the restaurant.  I was hoping they could get us in earlier – and they did.  We were seated by 7:20.  The buffet was very good this year – we really enjoyed it.  They have added a Prime Rib carving station which Kristen really liked, and the Clam Chowder was a big hit with Brinn, Maddy and me.  I liked everything I tried and the desserts were VERY good as well.  We left a bit too full, so a walk around world showcase would do us good.  We headed straight for Germany since Kristen needed to get a gift there, and I like the Illuminations view.  The girls and I grabbed a spot to see from while Kristen hit the store.  Illuminations was wonderful as always, and we had a great view.  We took our time walking back and just enjoyed Epcot at night.  I love walking by all the countries in the dark, and after the crowds thinned a bit it was very enjoyable.

Time for bed and back to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow.
