Is there anything we can do to help? Promise to behave? Send bribes? Tell her you're getting another major award this year?
Just tell her Dennis isn't coming; if that doesn't convince her to let you go I don't know what will!

"She Who Must Be Obeyed" :witch:
First, don't let her see that post!
It would be AWESOME if you guys can make it again this year. I'll have the whole family myself, but it was great the year just Kristen and I went as well. Fun to have 'adult time' at WDW. We even had time for Pleasure Island one night!
Let us know anything we can do to convince her... And what we shouldn't do as well! ;)
good luck!

I think this would be a major factor for me too. Except if he did come, how could I not come and meet dear Dennis?
So how about it Den? ;)

Those wonderful Limeys handled themselves with typical British class--dennis on the other hand....the instructors were obviously afeered!

Wow, it almost felt like there was some kind of a subliminal message hidden in there as I was reading. ;)
I would love to come to mousefest, especially to meet the guys I've yet to meet that dawick was lucky enough to meet in October. Ive heard an awful lot about a buddy he calls Timon ;) So it would be nice to meet him too.
Unfortunatly mousefest has the potential to interfer with my studies this year so I will have to give it a miss, but anytime there after, I will definatly come so long as I can fund a trip.

good news and bad news..
good news is that I have persuaded the boss to buy AP's again and schedule a december trip.
bad news is that due to conflicts in work and babysitting schedules, we will not be able to attend MF and instead will have to go two weeks later.
sorry everyone, I'm really bummed--I so wanted to see you all again...

Well then I am happy and sad! Happy that you get that December Trip, but bummed that we won't get to see you guys again this year. But keep the option of attending open, just in case! ;)

Awww, that close! Well, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time--and your trip report will come right when we all need it because we're down after coming back.
Too bad, because I wanted to see the wonderful woman who gets to share your life! There will be another time.

Geez, I didn't see this thread until just now. I'm sorry you won't make MF, but glad to hear you'll get to make another December trip. I guess the cat is out of the bag on buying the APs as a surprise.
Laura did tell the kids they'd see me when you guys got APs again....does she miss me already?

Good luck with your convincing Ronski!
Adult time consists of many of the simply pleasures parents have forgotten.
Seeing the park without being hunched over a stroller. Bypassing Dumbo to ride the Mountains instead. Being able to enjoy a hot meal, instead of having to take someone to the bathroom the minute your food arrives. Only having one person to dress in the morning...yourself.

I Loved that "She who must be obeyed" comment tah when I first read it this morning I called Joe on his cell an DEMANDED that he now call me that :P After a slight pause and few minutes of laughter and saying htings Icna't not post on a nice family board... well I don't think it's going to happen
