Reminder: Have your trip dates added to the site calendar!

Everyone -

We are migrating from the old manual HTML Meets Calendars to this new integrated Site Calendar (so the others will soon disappear -figures, after I finally got the layout working fairly well!) :)

Just post your dates in this thread (working on getting user submissions to work eventually) and we'll get your trip on the calendar. Also, remember to check the calendar for meets during your trips, or have us add your own meet!

To display a particular month, just click on the month title in the small calendar to the left. Since the calendars are getting busy with Chats/Birthdays/Media Events/Vacations and Meets (whew!) it works nicely to use the Category filter found at the top of each month to reduce the events being displayed. There is even a print feature! :)

Clicking on a meet will display a quick meet description along with a link to more details!

I am emailing Tinkl now about our final decision for our trip this year.
Please add Prince Charming and I to calendar for October 2nd (Sunday) to morning of Oct. 8th (Saturday). Hope to stay at POFQ for the first time due to all the emails about how pleased so many of you are with that resort. This way the trip is less expensive NOT going at Christmastime but we will miss Mousefest this year!! Have to use up our AP's and get our monies worth out of it.
Hope to meet up with MikeS while he's there and enjoy Mickey's Halloween Party for the first time. Now let's see...........who could we possibly dress up as????? Hmmmmmm.

Try a meal at "Tips for Tops'n" in P'town same road as the monument but south of it. a total Portuguese restaurant we love for all meals. Delicious specialties. The bike trail would be a great place to run!! Up and down those dunes would be a challenge. I couldn't even bike up most of them.

Too late for the not too much sun!!! Just saw an add for Tips and it is quite inexpensive, may try it as I'm not cooking much this year. Did you stay at Maurice's? I saw some bumper stickers and it sounded familiar. You can't run on the bike trails but we have found some walking trails to try. They said to bring bug spray so I'm not sure. The beach sure works those muscles!

BTW, although the year is different my birthday is the same as the official one for Mickey. Steamboat Willie was released 11/18/28, and consequently November 18 is considered Mickey's birthday. Isn't that neat? :clap:
