Wow, Kathleen! You're hardly back, going again for Halloween, and planning on Mousefest! Yep, I'd say you're a Real Taginator!

See you in October AND December :mickeyHalloween: :mickeyXmas:

It would be wonderful to see you again in December Kathleena! :peri: Never underestimate the power or the pull of MouseFest! ;) We have had an amazing time the last two years.
And if you are strong enough to hold back this year, we look forward to seeing you in 2006!

You mean everyone doesn't use "wicked good" (pronouced wick-id) LOL I didn't realize it was local!
I would love to go again in December, but I'm afraid the vacation days and DVC points probably won't allow. Or at least - I only have three days to spare and my pocket is kinda empty from three WDW trips already this year!
And now since I posted this - DVC has announced their next cruise for Oct 22, 2006 - oh dear! :( Now I'm not sure what to do Oct/Dec this year or Oct/Dec next year?
Maybe I will have to watch the plane fares and WDW specials for Dec. You guys keep giving me encouragement and I could find myself taking a long weekend trip!

This year... This year....This year... :peri:
I'd love to do a member cruise sometime, but with my DW being a teacher its tough to take her and the girls out of school all at once! ;)
If you haven't already, watch the site 'Birthday' slideshow - there are some great shots from the last couple MouseFests. Each picture is worth a 1000 posts! ;)

Oh, man! You guys are tough!!!! hahahahah
I think I will look into some prices and the dates of the Mouse Fest over the next few days.
Who knows - maybe I can swing a few nights over at the ASMu/Mo and take a quick trip.
And I so understand about the teacher situation! I used to work in a bank and we couldn't take a vacation over month-ends. Not quite as bad, but used to make it hard to plan for the 15 people in the department!

I tried to resist!
I kept telling myself ,next year, next year, don't look at the boards, don't look at the boards......
me :duel: will power.
I lost.
I got ressie for Pop where a lot of ppl are staying. You might look there.
You won't regret coming to Mousefest. It's the COOLEST 8) 8)

OK so I figured out we can swing the DVC points - now I just need to justify the $275/each plane trip. I figured I could ask DH if he wants to go - his buddy will be there playing golf, so maybe he would like a quick trip.
So now the cost of a plane trip OR a new range. Hmmmmmm. Maybe I can find one of those - buy now, don't pay for 12 months deals.................

DH said - ya! Let's go!
Only studios available were at SSR and only for two nights. So I waitlisted for two more and today I research hotel options. This weekend I'll look at plane prices!

I should know by Sunday for sure!!

kathleena,
Wow, therehere were no availabilities at OKW? I'm surprised by that since it's the biggest of the DVC resorts and is more apt to have more availabilities. It'll and save some points too. 11/30 - 12/4 is 56 points vs 62 at SSR. Glad I booked when I did.

I booked our flights!!!!! Arriving Wed eve 11/30 and leaving Mon AM. Should leave me with 4 days of fun!
Now - anyone have any ideas how to break MouseFest to DH? I'm not sure he will understand. I figure I have 2.5 months to work it into the conversations. I know he will play golf with his friend on Sat - but I'd like to at least get him to Stop, Drop & Roll and maybe something else.......
OK, so now I will check out all the goings on and maybe have one myself I'd like to sneak in there - anyone up for a Millionaire Meet?

I'll take your word for it, Lisa.
Nancy, I'm so happy you are going! My husband and I love Maine. How do you happen to be called Kathleena?
I certainly want to do Millionaire--maybe we can go there from after Rolling?

My middle name is Kathleen. I wasn't very clever when I first came online way back in '96 and didn't want to just use my name. So I used my middle name and last initial. Someplaces I'm nkathleena.
And after Rolling was exactly what I was thinking! I'm still feeling my way around here, figuring out what to do - looks like I should maybe start a thread for it and see who is interested - maybe a breakoff group from the first meet!
PS To Photographer - pissa is a new one on me! Maybe it's a southern NE thing! LOL

There is plenty of room in the schedule for more meets! I missed Millionare this year, so it would be great to do it in December!

kathleena,
I grew-up in NYC and we used "pissa" all the time. It has to do with laughing so hard you lose control of your bladder. Add in the NE wicked and I'm bringing a supply of Depends for MF. I think I'll open a concession at all the meets. I may just leave WDW a millionaire.

Actually Kathleen, MouseFest is pretty lame. I went the last two years and had a HORRIBLE time!! You would be wasteing your money to there. Besides, do you really want to be known as an MFer??

ROFL! Am I sensing a bit of a green monster in your tone?
Funny story about the MFer!
I was getting a vanity plate and really wanted Fairy Godmother - which of course - won't fit. So I was trying variations of it with 7 letters. Most didn't make any sense at all and probably would have caused accidents while people tried to figure it out. FRYGMTH, FYGMTHR etc. So I had come down to one I liked and tried it out at work: FGDMTHR
Three out of four people indepently said " F GD Mother?"
I used Bibbidi. :D
But - to this day - they still ask me - what are you today - the Fairy Godmother :fairymagic: or the F GD Mother? Since I'm a Project Manager - we get a lot of mileage out of it.

Ohhhhhh, Dennis is mighty green on the subject of MouseFest. He made the last couple, but he dedicated himself to the Full Marathon this year, so he's a bit 'put off' by all the MouseFest talk this year!
But that's OK... I'm all Green because I won't be able to make the marathon as I had hoped. So we are kinda even!
