I don't watch this all the time & last night I missed the 1st 20 minutes so hope this is not a stupid question.

How come the "friendship group" voted off one of their own? Why did they not have Maggie put Janelle up to be voted off? I saw part of a show last week where Ivette was crying & saying how much she wanted Janelle out of the house. Sigh maybe I need to watch this one all the time to understand.

Because Maggie was not HOH. Howie was HOH and if Maggie took Ivette off, Howie would have put up April, therby taking away the "partnership" Maggie has with April. No matter if she used the power of veto or not, one member of the friendship was going home.
