The bi-annual Celebration Disney Liquidation Sale will be held in the Celebration school gym the weekend of October 11-12. Great deals to be had at 70% off all merchandise. Plus, the town-wide garage sale is that Saturday.

The Belz outlet stores should be having a 70% off parking lot sale right around then too. Will let you know if I find out more.

Oh My GOSH! I WANNA GO!!! Oh to think of the bargains I could buy. Christmas shopping would be done very easily. Now how can I think of a way to talk Dh into this one? :?

Thanks for the note, CelebrationMom! Man, I wish that I were down there right now! I remember when lived there, I got a Disney watch for $7 and the Lion King video for $3! Let me know if you see anything good!

Hi Sharon--The other one is in about six months, typically in April.

Linnie--you're right about the Christmas shopping! I hope I don't damage my pocketbook too much at the upcoming sale, because I don't need another thing personally, and I did all my Christmas shopping at the sale last April. LOL Would you believe that, as of last week, my Christmas gifts are now all wrapped, too? (only because we're moving in a couple of weeks and I'm worried that the ensuing chaos will leave me still unorganized by Christmas if I don't do it now...) LOL

Suzy--I remember that we were able to get you the 100 Years of Magic DVD at the last sale. I will certainly be watching for other good items and will post right away if I see anything. The timing on the sale this fall is a little weird. Usually the Liquidation Sale and the town garage sale are a week apart. This year they're on the same day. Since I want to 1) stay home and sell my own stuff, 2) drive around town and look at everyone else's stuff, and 3) go to the Liquidation Sale as soon as it opens...I'm trying to figure out how to be in three places at once! LOL

Thanks so much for the update.. I'll look forward to the Spring sale. Can't believe I've missed it in the past....not that I really need anything either, it's just so much fun.

Better get your track shoes on, sounds like you're going to be really busy that weekend with lots of ground to cover..LOL... Sharon

That was sweet of you to post the sale dates...but a bummer that I can't seem to justify the airfare to my better half. I just want to note for anyone who might think of going that there are some great hotel rates at the Celebration Hotel - not so crazy as it sounds. I have a lot of friends who travel to outlet malls and have an overnight stay booked.

Celebration Mom just curious, are you moving within the area or leaving the beautiful Sunshine State behind? Good luck in getting everything done that week. I am having a barn sale this weekend and procrastinating right now on the PC when I should be cleaning and pricing. Ah - better go!

Hi Nancy,

Sorry for the slow response--its a precious moment when I can take a break from packing and sneak to the computer without someone accusing me of slacking! All this work and we're not leaving the Sunshine State, just moving across town. But--to tell you the truth--I could do with a few cloudy days right now. Enough sunshine already! LOL

 (having a temper tantrum)

I wanna go, I wanna go, I wanna go. Let's see, if I got in the car, drove for 40 hours straight, maybe . . . . . (After all, it is a long weekend in Canada then)

Since a lot of us can't make it down for the sale, can I talk those who can make it into posting a report on the deals they found. I know, I know.... it will be like pouring salt into our wounds, but still... I just got to know what I missed out on. I can only imagine the STUFF I could get..... and Linda's suggestion about Ebay!!!! I wonder if I can make a spring trip?????

I want shopping details! Heck, throw in Belz and garage sell finds too!!!!
