I just realized MF 1 was the first weekend in December, and the Christmas Parade was taped while we were there. Since this year we'll be there the first week again, I wonder if they'll be taping again while we there.
I guess we'll have to wait a while to know what dates they plan to tape.
DisneyRob radio on live365.com is playing holiday music. :mickeyXmas:

Good question - I haven't heard anything about a schedule yet. That would be great if they were taping during MF, though it would place me (if I were going) in between a rock and a hard place since I would most likely want to stay for the taping AND make it to all of the scheduled meets!!

We;ve watched a little in previous years.. i thought it cool at first but then it got real boring.. alot of standing around. Now, if i'm there, I'll go look but i'm not making any special effort to see it..

Sharon is right. It's a time sink. Unless you really want to be part of the taping and possibly be on TV, it really takes away from your valuable Mousefest time. I think I devoted about 2-3 hours of my time just to get about 12 seconds of "air time" on the show.
Also, the CMs really hate the taping times because it really fouls up Main Street USA.

Usually the parade taping is started on thefirst Saturday morning in December, unless the weather is predicted to be crummy. It is a serious waste of time though. Mostly standing around waiting for 1 single flat to come down Main Street-no sound-that's put in later.
Standing there takes a lot of the magic of Christmas morning away IMHO

I think last year, this was how Tag got the great shots of Tarzan for Moley.
I'd think as long as you stay off camera, you can probably watch from the side for a few minutes then take off.
