Changing Awards Travel???

I am considering changing my travel date for Mousefest to arrive on Wednesday instead of Thursday- but have never changed award (free miles) travel before. Does anyone have any idea if it's possible or if there is a penalty???

There is a penalty with our air travel provider, Delta. Zeus says it is $150 usually for a change. If you have a high status(like Million Miler) with a lot of miles, they might change it okay. I would give them a call and see what it might be. If the penalty is not worth it, you will know then.

If it is Southwest, it is basically a simple process of cancelling one reservation and making the new one. I have never had any penalty or charge.
