I can't get a third countdown in my signature! Says my signature is too long! Now why is that????

I was having the same trouble, Betsy Ann. I couldn't add even a second countdown. I just assumed it was because of the character limit. My "doctored up" countdown used a lot more characters since I had added bold font, color, and a smiley to it.

I have three. Use your space wisely.

No, no limit on COUNTDOWNS, but the space for each signature is limited to 1000 characters. (Which is actually vastly larger than the default value I might add! ;) )

and there are tons of characters in the countdown clocks -- I took out all the spaces I could without messing with the countdowns so I will just have to wait I guess!
ETA - even taking out my byline I could not get 3 clocks in -- can I take out the spaces within the countdown without messing them up -- you know don't want to change anything in the calendars and break something around here!

I would first SAVE the text as you now have it in your signture. You can put it in any simple text file.
Then TRY to remove all the extras (maybe only ONE big smile image link?) and spaces. Give it a shot. If it messes up, then restore the saved version.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained! ;)
