My first post here!

Hello to all! I am (obviously!) new to this board and thought I would introduce myself. I am at stay at home Mom to 3 great kids. We are currently planning our 3rd trip to WDW and we leave in about 5 days! This trip we are going to stay at AKL for the first time and I can't wait! I honestly think I am almost more excited about the AKL experience than the parks!! :shock: Shhh...don't tell my kids or DH that!

Besides my Disney craze, I am obsessed with scrapbooking and every cool "toy" there is out to help me create my books. I absolutely love paper and feel I can never have enough. I am sure that sounds very strange to you if you are not a scrapbooker! Besides that, my DH and I are Cub Scout leaders for the Den my son is in. Just a "typical" Mom I guess!

In the mean time, as this trip approaches, I am done planning and now am just obsessing about every little detail since I really have nothing left to plan. So these discussion boards and trip reports keep me happy and really excited about our trip!

We're neighbors! Well sort of - Minnesota :D I can relate so much to what you said about almost being more excited about the resort than the parks! Last trip, we were fortunate to stay at WL and it is almost all I could think about. We loved being at AKL for dinner. Can't imagine how much fun it would be to stay there.

Welcome! You all will love Animal Kingdom Lodge. I spent 9 days there last year & 5 days there this past May/June. It is such an awesome resort. Be sure to try one of the nightly story time sessions, they are great for kids & adults.

Welcome Cheeshead. I'm also guessing you are from WI. If that is the case too bad you didn't join sooner, because then you could have joined Tracy and me in a mini-mini meet in July! Hopefully one of these days real soon I will get that film developed and post the picture.

Hi and welcome! I found the cutest scrapbook scissors at WDW. They cut little mickey ears along the edge of the paper. Wow, when we went in May, I spent way more than I planned on Disney scrapbooking supplies. But, I just HAD to have the stuff.

It's nice to se another midwesterner on the boards. Most of the family here are unofficial cheeseheads only my daughter was actually borin in Wisconsin (Plover- near Stevens Point) my DH graduated form HS in Mayville WI. Half of us are Packer backers, 2 are Bears Fans (the humiliation- sob) and 1 could care less about sports.
