I am trying to plan out our vacation next March. We will be arriving late on a Friday night. On Sunday morning we will go on the Disney Cruise, coming back on Thursday morning. Then we will have until Sunday night until we have to go home :-(.

We are going to do Discovery Cove on either Friday or Saturday after the cruise. With this we also get free seven day admission to Sea World. Using lazy butt touring, how many days do you think we should allow? My daughter will probably not be interested in the thrill rides, but she loves sea animals. Any eating suggestions?

We will also have annual passes for Universal Studios, or DisneyQuest and the Disney water parks, but won't have admission to the other parks at WDW.

I'm open for all suggestions! We have all day Saturday, then from 10:30AM Thursday, all day Friday, Saturday and until 4 PM on Sunday.

Good question, Esmerelda!

I'll have to think about it some more. Sea World can definitely take two days of your time. There are petting experiences and animal lovers will want to take extra time at those. I'll be back to this one. 8)

Sea World can be done in one day, but it makes for a long one that needs careful planning since you would have to really follow a schedule to see all the shows. It is also one where you are running from attraction to attraction to get it all in. I would suggest two days that would give you more flexibility and also more time just watching, feeding, petting, etc the animals where allowed.

I say this because we (meaning my, sis, b-i-l, and two nieces) tried scheduling for one day, but the girls are animal lovers and we spent about 45 minutes just at the Sea Lion feeding area. We ended up going back again that same week (it was when they were giving a second day free) and finishing up the second day. Besides, going two days gives you the flexibility of going back and seeing the shows that your family really liked.
