MouseFest 2005 Poll: MGM on Friday or Monday?

OK, the official http://mouseFest.org schedule is up (thanks Topaz!) and we have a difference in park days. (Which I expected...)

Do you want to keep MGM on Friday and AK on Monday, or switch them to match the Official Mousfest park days?

Personally, I think that MGM on Friday would be better since a lot of people are leaving before or on Monday. But I'm willing to go with the majority if people would rather do AK on Friday.

So, please vote if you are planning on attending MouseFest! :)

I didn't vote because I'm still not committed to MF. (But it's looking up!) If more Taginators will be around on Friday, than Monday than Friday seems a better choice for MGM. Stop, Drop and Roll has become a popular MF tradition. :D

Since last year me, Amy, Lisa, and I were the winners of the mindbogglers hunt at AK. But I guess I can give up the crown(ok...it was key rings, notepads. etc) so I can be there for MGM.

And since I am flying out Monday, guess I'll vote stay the same.

I'm torn too - I really enjoyed the AllEars Safari meet last year. I especially enjoyed the Hidden Mickey hunt, mainly because we were teamed up with Topaz, it was fun being with a fellow Taginator. I do not want to miss the Stop Drop & Roll so I will vote for the Friday being MGM. My MF focus will be to join in meets with Taginators so just tell me where and when to be there :clap: :peri: :peri: :peri: :peri: :peri:

I'm not changing my vote, since I agree with Zakerdog that my focus is hanging out with Tags.


Zakerdog, I had forgot your screen name. You and your husband were soooo nice to let me join you. I love doing hunts like that!! Maybe we can do one at one of the other parks this year!!

Our Sunday is a full MK day and so is the Official MouseFest park for those not cruising. (lots of people are not getting there until later on Thursday, and I know our family will need a full MK day in there somewhere!) :)

So, I was only considering moving our days that DIFFER from the official MouseFest park days.

My entire family is taking a 10 day trip to WDW a week after MF, so I'm going to try real hard to squeeze in solo trip, Thurs - late Sun for MF. If I can do it, I'd rather do MGM on Friday and skip AK, as that's my least favorite park. I have an AP, and I'd stay at Pop. So I can do MF if I can find air for under $200. Budget is tight since we decided to build a house instead of finding a cheaper one.

I'd love to do Stop Drop n Roll. I'll never go on Rockin Roller Coaster again as I think I lost my stomach somewhere in that ride. But I'm up for Tower of Terror - that's my new favorite ride.

Hi, Dave. I know that I haven't been on the board very long, but I voted anyway.

I really don't have a preference.

I tend to go to the meets that interest me the most for that day.

It is a nice idea to have all of the meets in one park each day, but this year, it looks like the land and sea portions interferes with the RADP meets.

Now RADP they started their Meets website really early.

I think that last years Mousefest website was set up a lot earlier, but this year it appears to be just starting.

I will be on the Mousefest cruise starting on Sunday, and so I won't be there on Monday either.

But I voted to keep MGM on Monday because of your explanation, and I agree with you.

I see RADP having two meets at AK on Friday, but no PassPorter meets or any of the meets that they had last year other than the Safari meet by Deb Wills, which is the one that I was going to go to.

But I will see Deb a lot other meets, so I was thinking about going to the Drop and Roll Tagrel meet that morning instead.

But I don't see any other meets on Friday either at MGM.

But anyway, I say go for it.

Set your on standard and set a new day as MGM day for Friday and you may start a trend, and others may follow you.

But it is very nice of you to ask for a poll.

I wish that Mousefest would have announced their regular meets earlier.

Especially since I am on the Mousefest sea/land package, I still don't know what day the special Mousefest MEV Illumination's Dessert Party and Viewing Meet will be held. I also don't know what night the special Mousefest MEV Pleasure Island Adventurer's Club Meet is going to be. I also don't know if their is going to be a special Illumination's Cruise Boat Night Meet this year like last year.

This makes it really hard to plan meets for me.

Especially for the ones that I have already paid Mousefest MEV for.

I think that next year that I will only buy the Mousefest sea portion and not the Mousefest land portion so that I can be more flexable with the evening meets everyone is having.

So go for Friday for MGM day.

Maybe next year everyone will see that Friday should be MGM day instead of AK day.

If Mousefest MEV would announce their paid event nights, then it would be nice to also have a MGM Fantasmic and Osborne Lights Tagrel Meets, too.

Isn't it just terrible to be such a commando type planner...lol.

I'm with Pam. I love all 4 of the parks, but of the 4 AK is my least favorite, so if I'm going to miss one (my flight out is Sun. morning) it will be AK. I say keep SDR Fri.
