POLL: Should we move the Tony's breakfast back to Sunday?

Some of the posts in the Tony's breakfast signup thread got me thinking: Tagrel & Family are not the only ones flying in on Thursday morning, and a few folks suggested that I schedule the breakfast for another day.

The only other day it might work is Sunday, Dec 4. Many people will be flying home Sunday, and all of the cruisers will be heading to Port Canaveral for the sea portion of MouseFest (but I don't know of any Taginators who are going on the cruise), so a breakfast in MK on Sunday might work and would not conflict with any other Tagrel meets.

So my question is, who is in favor of changing the Tony's Town Square Breakfast meet from Thursday morning to Sunday morning?

Will, I am the lone person who voted no, but dont feel bad if you need to change! We do not need to be at the airport until noon on sunday, but we were planning on downtown disney for a quick shopping trip! Tracy

Hi, Will. I can come either day. But wouldn't it be better for you if you moved it to Sunday morning? I thought you might have said that you might have to change you flight time if you came on Thursday.

I'll be there both days, but I think Thursday would be easier for me since we're leaving Sunday. Packing to leave the room takes some time. Not sure I could get out and make it to breakfast in time. And I sure wouldn't want to have to schlepp back to the room after breakfast to check out.

Voted for both days, Will...but I was thinking the same as Ray. It does not make sense to me that you should have to make flight change. It is your Meet :) I think we should go with Sunday.

Whichever day it is some will not be able to make it and I'll miss them, but it's going to happen either day, so what to do?

My vote: Keep your current flight, Will - let's try for Sunday :)

I've been in this postion Will, and its never easy. There are always some that can't make any given meet. So, the only thing to do is have the meet at the best time for YOUR schedule. You are the host, so just pick a day/time that fits your schedule. The beauty of LOTS of meets is that if you have to miss one, you have the chance of making the next one! :yes:

I'm going to let the poll run for the rest of the week, but right now it's 13-2 in favor of Sunday.

I never had a problem with changing my schedule, since I have not booked my room or flight yet. My original plan was to be in WDW from Thursday-Monday, but I had no problem with making it Wednesday-Sunday instead. I was just concerned that by scheduling the meet on Thursday, I was shutting out a lot of Taginators who are arriving on Thursday.

I'm personally fine with either day, I just want to pick a day when the maximum number of Taginators can make it, so I'm going to go with the majority who vote in the poll.

There's pro and con to both days. It looks like Sunday is tenatively a MK day, so folks who are around will be heading to that park anyway.

Since Thursday is the MVMCP day, you'll probably have a lot of people going to the MK Thursday too, but an early breakfast in the park, then staying late for the party would make for a very long day.

It sounds like most people are leaning to having it on Sunday.

I'm good with Sunday, too. I'm leaving on the cruise that morning (so now you DO know a Taginator that's going on the cruise, Will :wink: ) but I don't have to leave so early for the port that I can't enjoy a good meal and good times with friends before I go!

Okay, after 2 weeks tha results are 16-3 in favor of changing the date to Sunday, so the date of the meet is now officially changed to Sunday, December 4, 2005.

To those who can't make it on Sunday, I'm sorry, but I wanted to make this meet on a day when the maximum number of people could attend.
