Freaky Friday Movie

Has anyone seen the new movie Freaky Friday? I took my girls yesterday and thought it was an absolute hoot!!!! I wondered how it would be since I saw the original Freaky Friday when I was little, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it!!!!

I second that. We saw it last night at the Drive-in (our Saturday night thing with Snickerdoodlesmommy and her family) and it was excellent. Second movie was Pirates and even though I was not to interested in seeing it, it was also good. I especially like William Turner!

I've seen it and liked it very much. Good for a break from reality! And every review I've seen for this movie says this is excellent, one of the very few that is really better in a remake than was the original!

Saw it with DD and two of her friends (all 13) on Sunday and all of us loved it! The girls and I laughed through much of the movie and were near tears at the end. That's the kind of movies they need to keep making!

I saw the original and this remake holds its own. Jamie Lee Curtis does a great job as the Mom and the kid inside.

I agree! DH and I saw it last night at the Drive-In and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The story has been done a LOT, but this version was great! Much, much better than the made-for-Disney-Channel one that came out a few years ago.
