A Wet and Wild day.
This is a bus trip that I organize every year for a group we belong too, a day trip too Wet and Wild in Greensboro NC. Last year I had been talking too Lady online a lot and invited her too meet us there. Wow a first for me, I had never meet anyone form the boards in person and I couldn’t wait! :D So this year we planed on getting together there again, only this time she would bring Scamp with her, Tramp was in Ohio for a shooting match. That’s ok tho. We met Tramp when they joined us at the beach for the day over the 4th of July. This is where Shell found out fish do live in the ocean :rofl: Anyway she meet the bus and of we went too cool down in the water. First up was the lazy river. DH joined us and around we went 3 times till we decided to go on the cyclone. This ride is so neat. After that is was food time. Hadn’t seen anything of all the kids yet, but wouldn’t you know it, you just think food and they all show up :eat: :burger: After lunch we headed too the wave pool where we saw scamp against the wall (not a good place for a week swimmer) Here we couldn’t figure out why people were screaming when a wave came, so we joined right in with them, usually we started it Scamp joined us for awhile when he decided too go off looking for a girl, there were so many there all in little bitty bathing suiets.DS#1 (23) was having a great time with all that girl watching .Anyway we took a break and lo and behold scamp brings over a cutie he met and was hanging around with. Shell said she was going across the compound too do something. What did she do, well she went and got a temporary tattoo on her back of a butterfly. :o Never told me what tramp thought of it on Sunday. By this time it was getting close time for the bus too leave. A storm had been threatening too move in and 10 minutes before we were too go they closed the park due to weather(never stormed). This is a great thing too happen because you get a rain check ticket too come back. Shell did get lucky this trip. I wanted too ride the water coaster and she didn’t, but with a little begging on my part she said she would. Well darn they had it closed this time .Hay Shell there is always next year! If you ever get a chance too go to a water park with Shell, beware she likes too splash you, stay away. It was a great day too get together with friends .
