:tink: Ahnalira, I love your trip reports! I'm a very visual person & I love the pictures! :bounce: I love the pix of the food....always :D I have to admit that I love beef, the lamb...YUM! :bounce: Great pix of all, expecially the glacier. I thought that the horse you rode looked somewhat like Dancer Blossoms. What do you think? Did you feel the difference in the girth the next day after riding? I would think you would have. Very exciting vacation. I can see that you both enjoyed. :D :tink:

The horse had the same base color, but her white mane and tail make her a palomino. Dancer's dark mane, tail, and dark coloring on legs and down the middle of her back make her a line back dun.
The horse was MUCH wider than riding Dancer... My hip sockets were stretched, BIG TIME. I wasn't sore or anything but for about 30 seconds after I got off, I couldn't walk while the ligaments and tendons came back to "home" She was like riding way up high, but I telly you what, she had the smoothest trot I've ever ridden!

I remember well the sound of a calving glacier. It roars and is just a magnificent sight to see. And, don't you just love the aqua color of the glacier? We took a day cruise in the glaciers and one of the crew scooped up pieces of the ice. They broke it apart for anyone who wanted to taste ice that was thousands of years old! Keep 'em coming, Ahnalira!! Thanks for sharing.
