Screen too big

DH or DGD did something to my computer. My icons on the desktop and the websites are too big. The website page doesn't fit the screen - I have to use the scroll bars to read, etc. Help! Help!!1

In the toolbar click on View, then click on Text Size. I have mine set at medium, and can see everything here without scrolling. There are a couple of forums I go to that I need to change it to Large in order to be abel to read comfortably.

Unless they changed the pixels that your screen is displayed in... could be that you had it in 1200 x 800 and they changed it to 860 x 600....

If it turns out to be text size, don't be too hard on the DGD or DH. My cat changes mine at night, all the time!!!!! :?

Thanks, y'all. I tried changing the text size in view and that didn't help. I'm off to try to figure out how to change the resolution! Hope that does it because this is miserable! :roll:

Definitely sounds like they changed the resolution. My kids do this to play certain games...

Right click on the desktop (away from any icons), and select Properties from the popup menu (at the bottom).

A Display Properties window will come up with tabs across the top.

Select the Settings tab

There is a slider control that will let you change the resolution.

:tink: Tagrel, Thanks for that info. I've had that problem with having to do the side scroll occasionally on this site & one other non-Disney :shock: site that I go to. I didn't know I had an option to change it. :tink:

It was definitely resolution. Once I changed it, the desktop and websites became my "normal". Thanks for the help, everybody! :notworthy:
