Well that was a cliff hanger! If that Pilot wouldn't have let them on that plane ....

Whoo Hoo I am so happy. Great season. I am still out on how it will be travelling with teams of 4. Phil was on my radio station again yesterday. He told us that when a team tries to get on a plane, in a taxi etc there must be enough room for their filming crew to get on/in with them. So if there are only 2 seats left on a plane they cannot go cause there is not room for the crew.

Don't hate me, but I wated Rob and Amber to win. :tomato: However, I was glad it was Joyce and Uchenna instead of the other team. It was a great race!

Yea!!!! I'm happy about it too! I, too, loved Rob and Amber, but this is good. Anyone but Ron and Kellly.. I found it interesting that on tv this am, she said she told her mother that she and ron only argued once. Is her view of what happens around her that skewed or can the editing alter what really occurred that much? Anyway, I'm still glad with the outcome. 8)

So glad it turned out the way it did!

Sharon, I was wondering about her saying they only argued once. But I'm guessing even though they bickered once, they probably only had one real fight. With those really close to me I tend to bicker but I don't consider that having an argument. An argument is something more.

Rob and Amber make me nauseous. So glad I don't have to see them anymore.

I don't watch this show regularly, but is begging for money typical?

What a fun ending and what a great season! Although I love Rob and Amber, woohoo to Joyce and Uchenna! Spread the wealth a little bit. I just didn't want Ron and Kelly to win - I didn't like them from the start for some reason.

I was tearing up at the end to think of Joyce & Uchenna and all the revelations about their relationship and the love they found for one another through this ordeal.

Can't wait till next season!

I don't watch this show regularly, but is begging for money typical? No it is not. But two(?) seasons ago they started this thing where the three non-elimination rounds the teams have to give up all their money. Then this season they added that they take away everything but what they are wearing and their passports. I really wish they would get rid of at least the money thing - I hate to purpose put people into the position of begging money. Even worse in foreign countries when it is American's begging.

Last night Uchenna & Joyce were the last team to be non-eliminated at a pit stop, so they lost their money... hence their begging.

Thanks Rosebud. I think I would be upset if I gave someone ten dollars, and they won a million dollars because of it.

That could be what she meant, but they all took it the same way we did at first too.... Like... You said... What????

I got a question? Did they have to pay the cab driver??? I was wondering about the show rules. So had they not gotten enough $$ , could they have run in if they saw Rob and Amber coming?

Also, Out of the last 3 couples, R & A were the only ones who didn't ever loose a round.. I don't like that they lost knowing this.. even tho it's the rules. Another thing, I hate that begging. I think they should come up with something else. I don't know what, but something... :?

I read somewhere else today that is was not part of the rules that they had to pay the cab driver so they could have run away.

There was actually 45 mins between when they arrived and when R&A arrived - don't know about how long it took R&K though.

I HATE the taking away of the money! Also thought it was very unfair that the first team to get non-eliminated had no idea they would be giving up their possessions. Some of the rules or non-rules aggravate me and often wish they were clearer.

I really hate the rule where they let people (non-race people) escort them from place to place. R&A weren't the first person to do that, it has been done on other races, so it is not just because I don't like them.

I do like the new rule of only 6 road blocks apiece.

I however have no problem with the one final team that didn't face a non-elimination round not winning - maybe I would feel different if no one ever got eliminated, but not when there are only 3.

I think we should have come up with a group of 4 from Tagrel to be a team of 4. They said a team of 4 family, but before Phil said family can mean a lot of different things and I think we are all family here. Maybe we'll have to come up with a couple of good different teams of 4 and apply next time.

That would be a riot, Rosebud! Just think how long the support thread for the Tag family team would be. :D

I bet we could come up with a great team that could consist of folks with various different talents. I'd watch y'all! :D
