Which "use month" is best?

for the sake of conversation, lets say that I normally go during the first half of February. would that make Feb my best use month? Or does it really matter??????

I think the school of thought goes something like this: you buy with a use month as close to when you usually visit. This way, if you have to cancel your trip for some reason :cry: you have the maximum time to either re-plan your trip or bank 100% of your points. It just gives you more flexability, and that is the name of the DVC game.

So if I go most in Feb, then a Jan use year would be best for me... meaning I would have the entire year to make up the use of the points.... or bank them in June....

That would be my recommendation, you then would have 5 months to re-schedule a cancelled trip or bank 100% of your points.

Joe is absolutely right.

Unfortunately, Disney doesn't have January use years, so I would recommend you get February if you can. :)

8) Im a Febuary user year and I Have gone for july 4th 4 years in a row and I have no trouble getting my room. Maybe at holidays it matters but I have no problems yet!
