So, since there's only one post in here, I thought I'd be brave and make it two.
Went to DLP, or I think it was called EuroDisney at that time, in September 1992. I believe it was the year after it opened and it was mighty slow and very empty. Walked on everything. Can't imagine doing that here.LOL
Most of the guests were from European Countries other than France. We asked why of a young couple we met in Paris and they said that the French people don't understand or share our enchantment with amusement parks.
Ah well! More room for us foreigners!

But Magee! You're leaving out some key details.
Where did you stay?
Did you ride an attraction there that was new to you?
How was the FOOD?!

Sorry, Sandi.
We stayed in Paris, 2 blocks from the Eiffel Tower at Hotel Frantour Suffren. I had won the trip, a week in Paris and since we were so close, we had to go to see the "new" park. We had to take two trains to get to Eurodisney. It was about an hour and a half ride most of it through the French countryside. (Talk about staying off-property). We only went for the day since our Paris hotel was already paid for.LOL
The One day Guest Pass cost 225 francs per person, roughly $56.00 at that time.
The CM's spoke French and English and were very courteous and helpful.
We didn't ride anything we hadn't ridden before and I found the announcements and signs in so many languages most interesting. And, of course, walking right on or in to anything you wanted was really a hoot!
The Food.... I remember having a cinnamon sugar soft pretzel which was served with cream cheese for dipping for breakfast. That was something I'd never had before.LOL (You'd love it, Sandar)
And later in the afternoon, we had lunch in a restaurant which was on the second floor, that's right, the "second" floor, above a Main Street shop. I don't remember the name of it. I do remember we had hamburgers which were very large and very good. Please remember, we'd been eating French food for 4 days and really wanted a "taste" of home.
The restaurant was decorated in a Victorian style with lacy curtains on the windows. We were seated by the window and watched the afternoon parade while we dined. No need to stake out a curb that day!
"La Parade Disney" Tous les jours/ every day 15:00/ 3:00PM.
We left not too long after the parade as it was a very rainy, blustery day and I believe the park was closing at 5.
Good grief! This has almost turned into a trip report and after 11 years and at my age, that isn't easily done. LOL

:D dear Magee,
Thank you very much for taking the time to write up this mini trip report. It's wonderful! Enjoyed every moment from the "off property" line, to the nearly unbelievable claims of courtesy from the French CMs, to the cinnamon pretzel recommendation. You're a dollface.
Sandi
