Say I bought 150 points at HH, then decided to buy 50 points at BCV (or the current resort). Could I then use the 200 points 11 months out to book BCV or can I only use the 50 pts?
HOpe I made myself clear...... thanks

You can only use the 50 BCV points 11 months out, and the 150 HH points 11 months out.
What you CAN do is something like this:
Year 1: Hilton Head first year use 150 points and take a nice beach vacation. Bank 50 BCV points.
Year 2: Borrow BCV points from next year for 150 point total. Stay BCV. Bank HH points or use them as needed. Or try for BCV at 7 months.
If you aren't travelling at a really busy season (and DVC busy seasons are NOT necessarily when WDW is busy) then wait for the 7 month window. Unless its a holiday or early Dec you can almost always get at least OKW with a good shot at the others, especially if you use the waitlist.
All confused now? :D

you betcha.....
naa I think I got it.... def points you to buying extra points at your resort though, it could get crazy trying to shuffle points at 2 resorts....
Yup, what Tagrel said. And I agree with you, it definately pushes you to add on at your home resort, unless you are buying enough to cover stays at both places.....hmmm way lots more points!
