hummmmmmmmmm - no clue - I am getting a full paper on this thread -- two thought -- are you running in Minimize and are there big pictures in the thread. No clue if either of those matter!

Internet Explorer is KNOWN for cutting off the right edge of printouts. My only suggestion would be to use another browswer (such as Firefox).

If you need them printed I will do it for you Sharon. Just let me know and I will send them to you.

Are you just hitting the print button on your browser, or the little picture of the printer on the top of the thread? If you use the 'picture' it converts the thread to all text and you could copy it to word if it's still not printing right.

Pixie - that is so nice of you! :)

Good question Robin. I was assuming that FLSharon was using the print feature: Looks like this: http://tagrel.com/forum/modules/PNphpBB2/templates/PNTheme/images/topic_print.gif

Try that first if you aren't already. If you still have a problem, Robin has a great idea in pasting everything into Word. It can take a while for the larger threads, but usually works pretty well!

I still wish that Internet Explorer would fix this print problem though... It has done this for years and years! The worst part is that you don't always realize it was cutting off the right side until later when you actually try to READ the printouts! :viking:

Tag, that's exactly what happened...twice... After printing the first time i thought it was b/c it said 75% in the scale so i changed it to 100% and printed again without checking the preview.. duhhhh.. so i loaded the Firefox browser and it still cuts it off... i'm thinking it might be something to do with the screen.. Oh, i tried thru aol and got a little more but still not the whole thing.. If Pixie can see it, I figure "should " be able to get it..LOL.. I'd like to print the whole thing with the avatars b/c it's like seeing who's talking .. . Now i'm gonna try my desktop since I"m on my lap right now. If that doesnt work i'll take Pixie up with her kind offer... there has to be a way to do this...

Robin.. thanks too so much for mentioning the print feature on the site... something new to me.... another duh.....here. Even tho i want the avatars in this instance, it'll sure come in handy at other times...

bummer, I can't just blame Internet Explorer?!! :peri: Sorry about your installing FireFox and having the same problem... Still, its a great browser - try it out if you get a chance...

Durn... Must be something that is a print issue within windows then... hmmmmmmm. VERY frustrating.....

I just tested something....

I did an 'Edit - Select all', then Control-c to copy the entire screen. I was able to paste it into a Word document. I was 'slow' as it needed to get all the graphics and such, and the format was a little 'off' but not too bad. (I didn't test printing it.) This could be tedious task with a long thread, but you also would have the option of deleting the extra buttons and such at the top and bottom of the page.

Robin, thanks .. i tried that but no pictures would print. From what i got, it's better to use the print icon on the site.

Here's what did work... I changed the margins as low as it would allow me and also changed to landscape... That pretty much gets it all. I think a couple letters got missed on one page or so but it's not bad.

From my search on google its a very common problem.

Tag.. hey no problem about firefox.. it was an easy download.. Now that i have it, what's the advantages over IE? For the short time i was using it , the smilies seemed to load much slower than IE.. maybe some settings need changed somewhere.

Pixie.... I'm so glad i got this to work... its a gazillion pages to print...... each page of posts takes many, many to print...but it's worth it ...i really want it in my marathon scrapbook.... What a thread!!!
