Ok, so who hold the record for meeting the most Taginators? I am starting my record trying streak this weekend by meeting...STINKERBELLE!!! Yay!!!!!

I don't know if we ever kept count. Big events like Mousefest would involve several dozen each as we crossed each other's paths at least once. Tag has been to so many meets even before this site started, so he would probably be the one with many. Then there's AliciaG who has been to many before, too. I would say just enjoy each encounter, as we all have. It is always quality time not quantity which everyone loves, so enjoy each quality moment. And by the way, give a big hug to Stinky for me. She is fabulous! :peri:

I will take a guess and say I've met approximately:
85+ Taginators so far (including Mousefest 2003, Mousefest 2004, BaltiMouse Meet 2004, Herhsey Chocolate Mousse Mouse Meet 2004, Gettysburg Meet with Lady/Tramp/Scamp, Drive-by meets along Rt. 95 with Pixie). I never sat down and made a list.
Now if you want to count emails and phone calls............................................. ..

A whole bunch!
I've met them from WI to CT all the way down to FL.
1 meet in CT
1 meet in WI
3 meets in Baltimore
1 meet in NJ
The rest in FL - none at MF, but lots of others
I don't think I can even count the meets, so I sure can't count the people.

Though I haven't met a lot in numbers, I have done the corner-to-corner meet. Met up in Seattle and in Orlando!

Believe it or not, I'm a relative 'newbie' to Tags...'almost' a year now. Wow...time flies!
Mousefest gave me a big 'catch up' on the number of folks I met. More probably than the numbers of names I can remember.

Hmmmm... this got me curious, so I went to the memberlist. I've met 84 folks who are on the membership list here. 8) That's not even counting their spouses and/or kids. That would boost the number up quite a bit.
I agree with Moley that it's the quality of the meet that makes it wonderful. I've enjoyed each and every occasion where I've met another Taginator, but I've really enjoyed getting to spend some quality time and really getting to know several here.
I've been lucky enough to meet some of the finest folks I've ever known.

It has been wonderful meeting Taginators over the last couple years (and before!) :) I followed AliciaG's example and checked the member list... I have been lucky enough to meet 80 members! And I can't wait until I get to meet more!

It was at the Contemporary with BetsyAnn, MargerJ, EJ4Disney and Cruey! :D Then the 'Imagineer' guy stopped in with some Hersey Kisses!! :D I always thought his name was ImagineerWannaBe, but someone else uses that name here. I guess it was somthing else. :confused2:

I guess I'm in the minor leagues here with only 63. If your name is on the list and we haven't met, please correct me. If we have met and I left your name off, please correct me. If your name is on the list and you wish we hadn't met, keep it to yourself.

 I doubt if you get one taker on this one, Will. You were one person I always looked forward to meeting and you did not disappoint. You with your posters made up of aerial views and your generous donations of door prizes. Who said one had to beware of Geeks Bearing Gifts? That is sooo untrue! :peri:

I sure did meet Will, I even have a few photos from the Dole Whip meet to prove it! It's so overwhelming trying to remember all the names when you meet so many folks in a short time. Sometimes it a quick greeting, while others you get to spend a bit more time with.
My first 'group' meet was the at the WL, and it even included a group hug, with of course GroupHugJohn. :peri:

I remember that meet too Den - what fun! That was a great meet and a great trip. I think I remember you playing some videos with the Matts! And the hersey chocolates a hugeeeeeeee hit!
I have meet lots of Taginators - no clue how many - The first person I ever meet from any Disney site or any other site was LimeGreenCheri! Shocked I know!

I met a lot of Taginators at MouseFest and I'd only signed up to the board shortly beforehand. I may not remember all the names but I remember faces. Then I met Buffy a month-ish ago. I guess I should confess that for a short while I had Moley mixed up with Cruey. In my defense, are the 2 attorneys I work(ed) for. LOL

Hey Will, you left my brother Daffy Duck off your list! (I won't tell him though ;-))
Until August last year I'd met no Taginators! My first meet was with Mike and CarolS, shortly followed later that evening by Timon (this was also the night I discovered Turkey Stew at H & V ;-))... the rest as they say is history  I've met far too many to count off of the top of my head!
ETA: At the request of my Master... I must tell you all that I also met Den and Jenine on that trip ;-)

Ok, I just had to go back and count from the Taginator list. I'm at 95!! But I'm pretty sure there were some that I forgot. So we'll just make it an even 100!! ;-)

In April, 2003 we went to Tokyo with Disney for 7 days. Absolutely FABULOUS time. There were 29 of us and 3 Disney people. 2 out of DL and 1 out of WDW.
They catered to us, flew us all over, had interpreters for us, took the bullet train to Kyoto and back, stayed at the Ambassador Hotel in DL Tokyo and Miracosta Hotel in DL Tokyo - took us into DL Tokyo and their new park, called - Disney Sea, (BEAUTIFUL PARK) - They took us all over Tokyo - and went to downtown Tokyo for 2 days and it was amazing - and ended up giving us GIFTS GALORE. Since I rec'd the gifts and so did DH, we sold them and made thousands of dollars on them.
DL in Tokyo is not owned by Disney, it is owned by the Oriental Land Company and every single morning before the park opens, there is literally thousands of people outside at the turnstiles waiting to get in. The Japanese people really love Mickey to death. Young and old alike.
If the trip is ever offered again, I will jump at it very fast.
Something I will never, never forget.
Yep, getting ready to go on the 14 day Panama Canal cruise. That should be great also. We aren't staying in DL in CA, though. Was there twice last year and leaving the "babies" - doggie, Shelby, and kitty, Theodore, is long enough after 17 days with a sitter. Then I get home and have another cruise scheduled in July. I have to give myself time to rewind in between.
Just got up to get some milk - going back to bed now and hopefully sleep this time.

After feeling guilty about only answer a whole bunch, and not giving a precise count like some did, I went back and tried to count. Couldn't do it because I'd count someone and then think - wait I didn't meet them, only talked to them on a chat, or seen lots of postings by them, or whatever. Then others I met but in groups, wasn't positive of their name - especially those that use different names on different boards.
So my answer is the same - a whole bunch.

I started to say a whole bunch, too, and then I counted. My first meet was 1999, first met ms e then and Ursulinda who went by LindaB. Then I went to a meet in 2000, a couple in 2001, a nice one in 2003 and last year's Mousefest for a total of 89 Taginators met. Lucky me, I would say. What a great group of lovely people.

I have only had the privilege of meeting four online Disney friends in person. But it sure feels like I have met so many more when I count up everyone I "know" through all the years online.

I figure I've probably met a couple without even knowing it, just by chatting with whoever happens to be around. I often chat with complete strangers, and more so at WDW. I bet others have too without realizing it.
Also, I bet some of you have met my DD and didn't even notice since so many of you go see the characters. Some of you probably met Katie too (her old roommate). She worked in Animation Courtyard, and will be working there during the month of May - know lots of you will be there then, so look for her. Both Katie & Val have registered on this site. And I know lots of you will probably soon be meeting Val's roomate Chris. He works at Soarin. Although he's not a member here, but you can still say hi to him if you see him.
I'm way down on the list using my fingers and toes I only have 13 (hope to make it more soon)

As far as I know I've only met one Taginator. That was through another message board but we are both members here. I almost met Robin this year but a defective cell phone prevented that from happening. I hope to meet a whole bunch more Marathon Weekend.
