We are planning our first trip to WDW in May. Now I know many of you are saying"First trip?", but we live in So. CA. so you know where we go all the time. My 14 yr old is there today. Our grown son and wife and kids are meeting us at WDW, from CT. We are looking into POR. I have been reading all your posts and would like some more ideas about which building or mansion? Any other helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.
How come they don't give discounts to Disneyland A.P. holders for WDW?
Thanks so much,
Becky

Welcome Becky!

I know...with all Disney's talk of 'synergy' they really should try to encourage more folks to visit both parks, rather they handle them completely separate.

There's a recent thread on POR you might want to take a look at and ask us any questions: http://www.tagrel.com/forum/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=11526

Hi Becky! Welcome! :welcome:

I love POR. I always recommend Alligator Bayou buidings 14 and 15 for their proximity to food court and bus stops. It is truly a delightful resort to stay in. Enjoy a boat ride to Downtown Disney and buy a few pralines before you set sail. At 99 cents each, they are the best value sweet treat at WDW and available only at POR. Have fun! :D

I LOVED the mansions! We stayed in Magnolia Terrace and the flowers were in full bloom on the trellace leading out toward the river, and there was a sweet little gazebo to sit and people watch. Absolutely gorgeous! I believe the Bayou is the only area with the trundles, though, so it depends on your needs.

Hi Becky,

Welcome to Tagrel.com!! I love the PO Resorts (haven't actually stayed at Riverside yet but just had my first stay at FQ in Jan). Good Luck! I wish the company would honor AP's for all the parks- I would have loved to visit Disneyland with my AP from WDW too!

Welcome Becky. I saw your user name and just had to respond because at first I thought you might be someone from where I work. His first name is Costas and the first initial of his last name is B.

I thought it might be Bob Costas, of NBC sportcasting fame.

I thought it might be Bob Costas, of NBC sportcasting fame. :oops:Well that sounds more likely than my scenario, but I guess I was thinking more personally since I see the guy every day.
