I know this isn't Disney related, but my parents are going to Boston next week on a trip and I'm having some trouble getting reservations for a car for them. I wondered if anyone here is from the Boston area and if so, could I email you some questions? I'm on a tight time budget since they are leaving next THursday, August 7th, so email me privately at ktrick@yahoo.com if you can help!
THanks in advance, I always can count on you guys!

Hi, Barb
When I reply to your email, it keeps getting returned as "Mailbox unavailable" Any idea why?

I don't know why, Kelli. I just sent myself a test from another account and it worked. I also received mail from other people today. :( PM me your questions or I'll PM you another e-mail account.

I emailed you. I lived in Boston for years so I might be able to answer questions even though I am no longer there.
But do have a quick question...are they staying in Boston, if so, you might not need a car. Most people I know who don't know the area, hate driving there.

I've lived here all my life except for 1 year and I will only drive in Boston under extreme duress. I'll take the T anyday.

I have been to Boston a few times & would never even think about driving in Boston, outside of Boston yes - downtown no. As others have said Boston has great mass transit.

Hi, all and thanks for the great replies!
THey are staying in Boston but getting the car on Sunday to drive OUT of Boston to visit other parts of NEw England. I had some questions for people because my mom and dad were wanting ot get the car at the Boston Airport on SUnday and then turn it in at Manchester NH which is the airport they are leaving from. And we were having some trouble doing that, so my questions were directed at, is there mass transit from the Boston area to Manchester or any other ideas besides this way to rent a car. It's basically going to cost them $100 a day to rent a car one-way, and that's for an Intermediate!
But they don't have much of a choice, I don't think, I've played with every imaginable code and that's the best I can do since most of the rental agencies impose $150 surcharge for one-way rentals!
Thanks again for the help :D

Have you looked at the Manchester airport site to see if they have options available. I know that my sister and family are flying out of there in a few weeks to come here and they are taking a towncar. The Manchester airport site is below.
