I took Eric and some of his buddies to see Robots today for his birthday. I'm not sure what type of reviews it's getting, but we all loved it.

There was lots of humor 11 year old boys love, and little things that adults would catch too. I love it when they do that, it's kinda like an inside joke. I went in skeptical since I've been a bit disappointed with the last few animated movies (Shark Tale and The Incredibles) we've seen, but was pleasantly surprised. It played to a pretty full house today, and we were all LOL frequently. I'd put in on my thumbs up list. :D

Well that's good to know. We have kind of been avoiding it since we really didn't like Shark Tale and still haven't seen the Incredibles. I think that we may actually see it - perhaps this weekend. :)

I enjoyed it too. Kind of retro with a futuristic look.

I'm surprised that you said you were a bit disappointed with The Incredibles. Although I liked it, I certainly didn't think it deserved the rave reviews that everyone else seemed to give it. I thought I was the only one that felt that way.

I saw a preview last weekend, I thought it was good too :-)

It's by no means the best movie I've seen in a while, but much better than the likes of Shark Tale. Oh, and Robin Williams stole the show for me! he was too funny! :-D

I'm looking forward to this one. Glad to hear its pretty good!

And you didn't like the Incredibles? Even Kristen really liked that one, and she usually doesn't care for that sort of movie much. What were you disappointed about?

Hey Alicia,

I have to agree with you, the Robots movie was pretty good - a far cry from Shark Tale  I was not overjoyed with the Incredibles either. Don't get me wrong, I liked it... but it didn't have that endearing quality that some of the previous Disney/Pixar or Disney Classic movies have, to me anyway. Maybe it's Holly Hunter's voice - kinda grates on my nerves

I'm a big fan of Incredibles. Mr. Incredible was just so endearing. I'm also a fan of Robin Williams. I was hoping to see some opinions on Robots before I go. Thanks everyone for your review of it! :D
