Day Ten:
Mickey wake up call at 7:00, got ready, finished packing, and in van at 8:00. Stopped by Hospitality House for our traditional year magnet(ones that have 2003 on them), beach towel, and t-shirt and I got a printout of our room charges, stopped by the cash machine for some cash and we were on our way at 8:20. Stopped at the Turkey Lake Rest Stop to get breakfast--very crowded and I got Starbucks for us. Reached Tallahassee around noon, stopped at a truck stop for Arby's gas and bathroom(this was the worst Arby's I've ever had--I couldn't eat mine--yuck!). Traffic was pretty heavy so we decided to try coming home through Alabama. Around 3:00 we stopped off at Steak and Shake for milkshakes and I drove for a while.
Outside of Montgomery, AL we ran into a major traffic jam because of a big truck overturned(glad we stopped for those milkshakes).
We stopped around 5:00 in Pellham for dinner at Cracker Barrel--we're pretty drained by now and figuring on stopping for the night, but are still debating trying to make it home.
Around 7:00 we see a nice Holiday Inn Express in Cullman, AL, so we stop, and man, are we glad we did! It was so nice to get out of that van and swim for a while and relax! So we did that and then hit the hay!!
The next day we were up fairly early and after a stop at Sams Club, were home in just a few hours!!! Good to be home...but already ready to plan our next WDW trip!!!
