Slept in this morning..10:00! I went down and got breakfast at the Food 'n Fun Center(pancake platter w/sausage for Brent, sausage & Croissant for Ben, cranberry muffin for me). Ben and I went to Grand Floridian to swim(this is a perk of DVc--we can pool hop!). We had a great time swimming--there were only a few people in the pool. After we swam for a while we stopped in Mickey Mercantile for a little shopping. We didn't buy anything, but we both enjoy looking. We hopped back on the monorail back to the Contemporary. We all took showers, then headed over to MGM. We got Fastpasses for Star Tours, then headed over to Mama Melroses. We were seated right away and served promptly. Again, WDW surprised me with how good the food was. Brent had Chicken Parmesan, Ben had pizza, I had a caesar salad and a cheese dip with bread and it was all very good. After this we stopped by to see Woody and Buzz....(whip out autograph book and camera)
Then we happened upon Mike and Sulley...(more pictures-but these guys can't go autographs). These guys were in a little air-conditioned nook--good thing, too because poor Sulley would be miserable!
We use our FastPasses to ride Star Tours, which is now one of Ben's favorites. He had to get on the "thing"(I have no idea what it's called) for a picture outside the ride...
Then we headed over to the Great Movie Ride, then over to Backlot Tour...
Then it was time to head back to the hotel. We went swimming again...this time Ben could go down the slide since Brent was with us. At first it was a little too fast, but then he decided he liked it. After we swam it was time for a late dinner and bed--so I went down for cheeseburgers for Brent and Ben and a peanut butter bar for me(I am gaining weight just typing this--how could I have eaten so much?). We packed up as tomorrow we check in to Old Key West and off to bed.
