Day Four(Saturday, July 5):
Mickey wake up call at 7:15, got ready and got to Cindy's at 9:00. Were seated within 5 minutes, and breakfast was served soon after. Ben was a little shy of the "girls", but was impressed. As soon as he noticed the princesses he made sure we had his autograph book and our camera in hand! We saw Aurora...
Aurora asked if she could give him a kiss, but got a quick shake of the head.
Cinderella herself approached as Aurora was getting ready to leave...by this time Ben is eating this up. He loves it, and waves bye to Aurora because he recognizes Cindy....
and immediately asks her if she knows the Power Rangers(his favorite, but I don't know why he asked her that). Cinderella replies, "No, who are they?" lol.
Then Mary Poppins stopped by our table....Ben didn't recognize her either, but he was into this autograph thing now and would take anybody's that he could!
Somewhere around this time Peter Pan made an appearance outside the window, but we missed it. Then his favorite, Belle, stopped by...more pics and autographs
Then Bear, Mom, and Ben rode Peter pan, then we all rode Dumbo...
then it was time for Brent and to leave and get ready to go to the Pepsi 400 race in Daytona. Mom and Bear were keeping Ben the rest of the day. They stayed to ride Pooh and Buzz Lightyear.
Brent and I hit heavy traffic as soon as we hit I-4 in Orlando(which was around 11:45). We got to Daytona around 2:00--traffic was terrible the entire way. We parked at a K-Mart(which was $25) and went inside in search of a bathroom. Also picked up a clear backpack, as this was all you were allowed into the race besides a tiny cooler. We then walked to the track. We walked around the vendor trailers, walked around a little, over to Daytona USA, and walked across the street to Ruby Tuesday, had about an hour wait, so we decided just to walk back to the car after stopping at Burger King. I read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and napped for about 20 minutes, then we went back over to the track. Brent met up with some Internet buddies, we walked into track and got seated as they were introducing drivers. Race got started...good race...only 2 cautions...Greg Biffle won. We walked back to the van, got on the road around 11:00. Took South 1, because of traffic, but the parts we were driving through seemed a little seedy, so after a quick stop at McDonalds we get back on I-95 and headed back. After a LONG drive we got to the Contemporary around 1:30 AM and after a shower we were in bed by 2.
