Hey there,

I have a countdown clock on my signature, but the computer I am working on doesn't let me see it. I know that there is some sort of setting that I need to activate in order to view it.

Does anyone know what that setting is?

Thanks!

You have to have java loaded to your computer and have it enabled in your internet options. java.org is where you get a free copy if you don't have it.

- J2SE 5.0 ()
- Java VM
- J2EE 1.4 SDK
- J2SE 1.4.2 SDK
- J2SE 1.4.2 ()
- Java WSDP 1.5

I typically go straight to Sun Microsystems for my Java fix! :winking:

Here is a link to exactly what you need to install. Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 (http://dlc.sun.com/jdk/jre-1_5_0_01-windows-i586-p.exe)

which can be found on the Sun Downloads (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp)page.

Thanks, Dave. I guess I am destined to figure out my own countdown - I can't run the download without administrative permissions. :(

at 5:40pm est it was 84 days, 4 hours, 20 minutes and 40 sec!

Sorry you can't install java on your machine. Maybe you can get someone from IT to do it for you. LOTS of things on the net need java to run.
