As usual, we take our time getting up and ready. Boy, it's going to be real hard to get back into routine when we get home, but I've got 2 more full days so I don't want to think about it. First stop this morning is over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for some shopping. We ride the boat from Wilderness to Magic Kingdom and then get on a bus to the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Oh how I love the Zawadi Gift shop. We have stayed at this resort on two previous trips, and it will always have a place in our heart. Not only that, but they have some great sales on the clothes here which works out perfect for me. I need another gift for my Mother in law and she will absolutely love the wrap I bought her. We ask to have our purchases shipped over to the Wilderness so I don't get stuck carrying them all day.
Soon we are on a bus to Downtown Disney. The past two days have been so hot that the water parks are closed by noon due to full capasity. So it makes our decision to do Disney Quest an easy one. I use our Ap's to get a discount on our Disney Quest Tickets which end up costing us $110 for the 4 of us. The CM at the ticket counter tells us there is a good place to eat inside, and that sounds great to all of us who are really hungry by this point.
Once inside my boys are grinning big time! Nick asks if we can do Buzz Lightyear first, so thats were we go. He is my partner and and the whole time we are on the ride, our car is spinning out of control. Terry and Zach are relentless on us, which has me laughing but Nick ticked off.
The last few days we have been really bad about not eating breakfast. Everyone is starving NOW! I find Disney Quest hard to get around and find things, but we manage to make it up to the restaurant. There is a dessert section on one floor and then two food sections on another. Terry goes to one side to order a piece of pizza(very large) for Zach and a kids Hot dog for Nick. He also purchases one of the Disney Quest Mugs for $2.75. Refills the rest of the day will only cost $1 each. I go to the other side and order a Philly cheesesteak and a BBQ Chicken Sandwich with fries. They do offer healthy choice and some of the salads look delicious. Everything was very good and once again we had too much food.
We pretty much do everything at Disney Quest and spend the last two hours on the Cyber Mountain. Mike and Carol have told us about it and it is awesome. You go in and design your own roller coaster, then you are put into a capsule and actually ride your creation. Terry goes with Zach who is a little less advanturous, and I get my WILD Child Nick. On our last turn Nick asks the CM if there is anyway he can make our coaster anymore wild. And he can. He gives us one that is almost nonstop rolls and flips. This time my little wild child does not close his seat handle bars on that tight and I am unaware of it. Well, Terry and Zach are watching and can't believe how much he flies around. The crazy nut loves it and begs us to go one more time, however we have now been here over 8 hours and it's time for us to head back to the resort.
Once back at the resort we head down to Roaring Forks. We had said we could go swimming but they are too tired and don't even ask to go, so instead we get food and go up to our room to watch the fireworks again. Aw this is the Life, but I am starting to miss home a little too, especially our one year old dog Luke.
Coming tomorrow....MGM, PRime Time Cafe, and 1900 Park Fare
