Another slow start for us. We are really getting into this "lazy butt touring". After showers, the final things are packed into our bags as Terry goes to check out. We call for Bell services and in minutes a little cart is there to pick up both us and the bags. They are aware we will need a taxi over to the Wilderness Lodge and have one waiting for us. As far as I am concerned our stay at Coronado could not have been any more perfect. We will come here again.

There is just something about the Wilderness Lodge that takes my breath away. I get a warm happy feeling as we pull up in front of the Lodge. During check in we ask if concierge is available, and if so how much extra it will be a night. This time it will be an extra $60 a night, and since we are staying here for 10 nights, we pass it up. It's only 11 am and our room is not ready, so we have them store our luggage and we decide to go over to Epcot to pick up my birthday crystal Terry and the boys ordered the day before. I call my sister Sandy as we walk to the bus stop with such sadness in my heart, as I so wish they were there with us. We had so much fun last year, and I know she loves being at disney and the Wilderness as much as I do. We both agree its time to start planning another whole family trip including our parents again.

Once at Epcot we head over to the Coke Cooling Station. The boys and I try all of the drinks, and I cannot believe how nasty that Beverly is. It actually made me gag. YUCK! :? Time to get some lunch, so seeing how we are close to The Land, thats were we go. Lunch takes a long time as it is very busy here, and it seems a little slow, but it does not matter...We're on vacation!! 8) After lunch, we see Food Rocks and The Circle of Life. Terry calls and our room is ready.

We stop on our way out and pick up the Crystal. It is beautiful and the most perfect gift. Not much of a wait for the bus, and before we know it we're back HOME!

We get off the bus and start walking up the walkway to the resort. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Wilderness, the walkway splits and the right side goes to the Villas and the left side goes to the Lodge. It is very quiet, and we seem to be the only ones around. Terry and I look up straight ahead(with the boys right at our side) and notice at the split in the sidewalk two teens. A pretty young girl (I'd guess about 15 years old) and a young boy about the same age. As we walk a few more steps towards them, she flips her bikini top off and we're in HOOTERville! I gasp, they hear me and the boys run. Terry and I look at each other and burst out laughing, as my two young boys are so excited they have been flashed. We continue to walk into the resort, stunned as we would never have expected this at the Lodge.

Terry runs over and tells bell service our room number as we proceed to the elevator near the Roaring Forks restaurant. Still in shock and laughing, we get on an elevator with a few other people. Guess who's on our elevator???? Our young flasher friend and HER PARENTS! She realizes who we are, looks immediately down at the floor and covers her face. Now I stand here, thinking should I say something like...Oh I did not recognize you with your top on! or just let it go. I decide not to say anything as I can tell this girl is scared to death I will say something. Fortunately for her, they get off the elevator before us on a lower floor and as she gets out, Nick notices who she is. He announces to his brother, the flasher was there, but luckily the door has closed.

This ends up becoming a joke for our family for the rest of the trip. The next few days the boys ask "is she the flasher?" or "do you see her anywhere?" Terry even makes up his own joke.

Airfare $800
Limo $170
Nice Resort $114 a night
Being flashed by a young lady on a family vacation......PRICELESS!

We're very pleased with our room #5082, as it overlooks the Main lobby, and we see the Magic Kingdom fireworks perfectly clear eveynight from our balcony. I decide to unpack and make a few phone calls, then we head down to Roaring Forks for dinner. Everyone wants to do something so we catch the boat over to the magic Kingdom. It's a Small World is the only ride we have time to do, then we head over to Liberty Square to line up for Spectromagic. We get some ice cream treats, and the wait is not that bad.

Terry and the boys have never seen Spectromagic and they enjoy it very much. After the parade, we take a boat ride back to the Lodge. The fireworks just start as we enter our room, so we run to the balcony and it is so beautiful to watch. As the kids are getting into their bunk beds, they thank Terry and I for taking them on another Disney vacation. Needless to say this sends both Terry and I to sleep that night with a smile on our faces. Life does not get much better than this!!

Coming tomorrow....Teppanyaki, Meeting LindaC (snickerdoodlesmommy) and her family, and Magic Kingdom

Well, Sheryl, that sure gave you something to laugh about. It does make me sad to think where this young girl may be headed. I've heard of bikini tops coming off on the water slides but this is a new one!

You must have had a perfect room. Your boys must be as sweet as their Mom!

I laughed so hard at the "flasher" my daughter just asked me what was so funny. I'm glad you got a great room-it must be wonderful to be able to see the fireworks from your balcony.

I can't wait to read about Teppanyaki!

We still get a little giggle about our "flasher". It is something we will never forget.

I'm so glad you did not say anything to the girl's parents - these are the little rites of passage that some go through - I'm sure the girl will be just fine in life - this is just something she can tell her grandkids some day lol

ooooh I love the boat rides at WDW - how I dreamed I was in the boat after Spectromagic on my way back to WL - ahhhhhhhh : )
