We were so exhausted that we did not set an alarm, but we all managed to wake about 9:30. Today we are going to take it easy and enjoy some time at Coronado Springs. Terry runs down to Pepper Market and returns with muffins, milk and juice. Everyones dressed, beds are made (bad habit), room is neat and organized (and yes we do get maid service everyday too, I'm just a bit compulsive  ), and we're out the door to explore.

First stop is to rent some water sprites. Terry and Nick in the first boat, with Zach and I in the second. The boys wanted their own boats but are too young, as you have to be 12 and Zach is only 11. Oh well, maybe next time. I get pulled over by the Mickey Police( bad habit) for following to close to Terry. This is a perfect first time on the boats as the boys were a little nervous about it and this is a very small, calm area.

After our half hour is up, we decide to rent a surrey bike for 4. Terry and the boys have a great time terrorizing me on the bike by riding my side off the curb. I DO however get pay back by shopping! Fun is had by all and we decide to hit the Pepper Market for lunch. We order a pepperoni pizza (small size) and a Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry and split it all between the four of us. Again everything is delicious and we feel they serve large portions.

Back to the room for a quick change into swimsuits and we're off for some sun and fun. Now I wanted to get some color and color I got - RED. In an hour we are all burned, so back to the room to cool off. After showers and a change of clothes, we head over to the Boardwalk, another thing we have never done before. After a minute wait a bus pulls up to our stop (#4) and Terry asks the driver what is our best way to get to the Boardwalk. The bus driver asks the other two families if they would mind if he drops us off on his way to Downtown Disney and they all said it was fine with them. So he takes us right to the Boarwalk, we thank him and the families many times, and I'm only sorry I did not get his name to write a nice letter about his kindness, but it was true disney magic.

The Boardwalk is gorgeous, but it is starting to get really dark and I know it is going to storm. Nicholas announces that he is starving  , so we head over to ESPN for dinner. The rest of us aren't very hungry so we order two items and split them. A shredded BBQ Pork Sandwich and a Cheeseburger, which works out perfect because we cannot finish it all, but it was very good. Now it's time to shop, send money, and get even for their terrorizing me on the bikes! :nahnah: Mom always wins! After walking up and down the Boardwalk, the boys play a few games(expensive) but both win prizes, so they are thrilled. It has been raining but has finally stopped, so we head over to look at the Swan and Dolphin, then head over to the Yacht Club and Beach Club. All are beautiful resorts.

At 8 o clock, we meet with Mike S., his wife Carol, Loribell, her Dh Dave, and children Mikey and Allison, for the Illuminations Cruise. Nicole is our driver and she is a very sweet young lady. The cruise is really great and so is the company. The children, as well as the adults have hit it off and everyone is enjoying themselves. Once the cruise is done we all stand around talking on the docks for quite a while before we decide to head back. It was a true pleasure meeting with these wonderful families and I am so glad we did.

At this point we are to tired to bus hop, so we get a cab back to Coronado Springs. Well worth the $5.75 plus tip. A quick stop at the store for some snacks....lunchables for the boys, a Turkey sandwich for Terry and an apple for me. Once again, we are exhausted and the boys are sound asleep very quickly. Better set that alarm tonight, we have a 9:35 ps tomorrow morning.

Coming tomorrow...Donalds Breakfastosaurus, Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney.

Sheryl, I am enjoying your trip report-especially the info about Coronado Springs. It's nice to hear a positive review of the resort and food, and you are tempting me to stay there sometime. I absolutely love the illumination cruise. SO much fun.
