Since we just got back from WDW and are not planning on going back until 2005(doing the Alaskan Cruise next summer for a change), I'm trying to figure out when to plan our next Disney trip.

We would like to go in July of 2005, but with all the talk about the storm that was threatening while we were there this past 2 weeks, it worries me a little. We'e never been on a cruise, so I have no idea. Does the time of year you cruise make a difference? What if there is a Hurricane?

Terry gets the 2 week GM shutdown and my kids don't end school until the very last week of June, so this would be the best time for us to go.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Sheryl :minnie:

Sheryl,
Can't tell you what would be a better time of year for the cruise. However, to let you know Hurricane season is quite long - almost half a year, and you never know when one might show up.

The cruise lines will change where they go if a hurricane is due for the intended area when you are suppose to be there. So if a certain destination is important to you, I'd avoid hurricane season.
