car rental question

If we were to get to the airport sooner than expected, could we get our rental a little early, or will they charge extra for that. For example, arrive at 9:30 for a 10:30 rental. I know they charge extra if it's not back at the time scheduled, but what about a little earlier for pick-up? Thanks

I'd have to take a 'guess' here. I presume they don't guarantee your car is available until you're pick up time, but I can't see them having a problem with you getting it early.

I presume though, if you pick it up early, you're drop off time will be earlier to match the time you actually got the car.

They have 'thresholds' for charging, so if you pick it up earlier, but still drop it off at the same end time it COULD effect final cost, but it all depends... You could call and ask to be sure, but I don't think you should have much trouble being an hour early. The car should definitely already be there unless they are SUPER busy...

Thanks, I think I will call and find out for sure. I guess we could hang out and grab a bite to eat if it's not ready or ends up costing us an extra day. I think I'm pretty much stuck on the return time. We will be driving back from the Wonder cruise, and I'm guessing a 10:30 drop off time will work.
