IN California Adventure they made some changes.

In 2001 we ate at a place called ABC Bistro. It was themed for soap operas on ABC. Right in the middle of your dinner someone could break out into a role that was very loud and maybe embarrassing. Anyway that place was closed and it is now a Playhouse Disney show including Bear in a Big Blue house, Rollie Pollie, Stanley and I think maybe one more but Im not positive. It was so cuit to see all these kids stand up and suddenly do the bear CHa. (MY grandaughter loves this on Disney chanel so I know what it is)

IN the area by the farm is a whole new kids area. They built a whole land where everything is big!! You are small and the props and everythign is huge as if you have been shrunk. THey had some carnival type rides like bumper cars and a couple other things like that. They also had an area where the kids could run through water to cool down. Its a very lush area with a lot of vegatation.

There is now a pre show in the tortilla factory. It was a bunch of kids giving the story of tortillas in cartoon. I didnt care for it but it gets people into groups to tour the rest of the plant. They also gave us a whole tortilla to sample instead of a half. I just know I want one of those machines in my house. I asked and its a Million dollars, Guess Ill have to keep working on that one.

Of course the biggest change is the act in the Hyperthian Theater. Its now an Aladan show. It was cuit and the genie was so funny but they could have done somethings a bit better. I woudl deffintly see it if I went again because you know people have good days and bad days and actores come and go so it may be different each time. We did try to see it a second time and we did see most of it but there was a technicle problem and it shut down the sound track and they didnt pull off the speical effect of a carpet ride. Its not fair to judge by a flawed show like that so I base my opinions on my first time to see it a couple days earlier when nothing went wrong. Last time I was there was a show called Power of Blast and it was such a great show. Its hard to replace something that great.

In the Who wants to be a Millionaire game it was a female host. Last time it was a male host and I noticed they changed that same guy into the person who warms up the audience. When we went in 2001 we saw someone win the Million dollar prize and he got a lot of stuff but his main proze was to go to New York to meet Regis. Well since its no longer on they have what I think is a better prize. They give the million dollar winner a Disney cruise. We didnt see anyone win it but they said two days earlier than we was there someone won.

If you have even been in the animation studio you know there are several choices you can see. They did up date the part where you meet a person who is supposedly an imagineer. In fact they updated the film a bit to talk about more current movies. They still use Mooshu as their illustration but it also talks about recent things they worked/are working on. By the way I did the part where you get to answer questions about yourself and I was most like tinkerbell back in 2001 and Im still Tikerbelle.

The Electrical Parade sure seemed shorter. I beleive they cut out many of the floats. In 2001 I saw it twice in June/July and 3 times in December and I feel like it was so much shorter this time. I cant pinpoint exactly whats missing and it still is a very nice parade.

Well thats all I can think of thats different for now.
