Just wanted to get back to you all regarding a question I had asked here before my cruise regarding single diners at Palo.
Will Palo take ressies for single diners?
YES!!! I ate there twice on my recent cruise, once for dinner and once for brunch.
They are more than happy to accomodate single diners at Palo. In fact, it seems that it's much easier to get seated at Palo for loners than it is for the general population. The secret is to go through the Palo manager, not the ressie line on the first day. He can usually squeeze you somewhere. I was told that it works well for them because they can fill in spots that they ordinarily wouldn't utilize with a party of two or more. Unlike the other dining rooms they do not seat you with other guests if you are dining alone. It is well lit which is nice if you're like me and enjoy reading while you eat. The staff is very friendly. I had some lovely conversations with various servers and I didn't experience any awkwardness about being on my own.
