OK...I have a new home coming up. I'm not saying I'll actually go this far, but I do enjoy rooms which are mildly-to-outrageously decorated to theme. So...if you had to choose one of the following Magic Kingdom themes for each of the following rooms, what would your choices be?

Main Street
Adventureland
Frontierland
Fantasyland
Tomorrowland

Kitchen
Dining Room
Living Room
Powder Room
Master Bedroom

Sorry, ToonTown is not an option. I might know that my home reflects the MK, but you won't see any mouse ears on display! Well..maybe in my son's room...

:minnie: thanks! CelebrationMom

Lets see with those choices I would do
Main street in my Living room since I enter my living room first and I love entering Magic Kingdom Main street.

I guess adventure land for the dining room. After all isnt eating suppose to be an adventure?

I would do Fantasy land for my kitchen because i love to play in my kitchen. (I love to cook) And I already have a toaster that singe the mickey mouse song to me so why not a flying dumbo too.

That leaves tomorrwland and frontier for the bathroom and main bedroom. Cant say either one does anything for me but if I had to choose I would do the bedroom in frontier and the bathroom in Tomorrowland for no reason at all.

From your post it seems as if you're going for theme, not necessarily Disney Decor. Therefore, coming from that angle and just a little bit tongue in cheek...

For the Master bedroom it was a tough fight between Adventureland and Fantasyland but I think Adventureland wins out because, afterall, encompassing all your bedroom fantasies can lead to some fun adult adventures. ;) ;) ;) :D

For the kitchen I'd go with Main Street because the kitchen is the heart of the home just as Main Street is the heart of a small town.

I'd pick Fantasyland for the Living Room on the premise that there might be a TV in there and watching TV could sort of be like escaping into fantasy worlds.

For the Dining Room I'd go with Frontierland because as an adventurous chef, you'll always be presenting new and wild cuisine frontiers to your family.

That leaves Tomorrowland for the Powder Room. And that fits because after your husband has been in there for a while with the sports section, it won't be fit for habitation again until tomorrow. ;)

That leaves

hi Celebration Mom,

Oh, cool! How about:

Kitchen -- Tomorrowland, definitely. Go for the Jetsons look with all sorts of sleek and quasi-useful kitchen appliances.

Dining room -- Fantasyland. You can all eat like kings and queens! (Do you get servants, too? lol)

Living room -- Frontierland. Rustic, lighthearted, with a lot of wood and a big toy train reproduction of Big Thunder Mountain.

Powder room -- Main Street USA. Clean, beautifully detailed.

Master bedroom -- If you make it the Jungle Room, you can simultaneously honor Elvis and Adventureland.

I know we're just having fun here, but I think a kitchen and dining room combo done in the style of the 50s Prime Time Cafe would be cool. I just groove on the decor there.

Thanks for a fun question! :D
