dust needed

Last thursday we recieved word at my school that the program I work in will be ending at the end of the year. (Great timing, Huh!) I do know that I have many qualifications and references and seniority that will keep me employed but still at the holidays with a trip looming in the next 6 days I do have some worries. Please if you can spare some good wishes, or prayers or whatever you want to call them send it my way for not only myself but for those of my co-workers that have some greater worries.

Now it is time to get down to packing I can not let my children down.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'll be sending you a truck laod of pixie dust, and hope that everything will work out for you and your coworkers. Try not to let this ruin your time with your family while at Disney. I'm a believer in "things happen for a reason" and am sure it will all work out for you. :wink:

I hope you can put the worry aside to enjoy your well deserved vacation. I thought of you as I toured some of Epcot this year, the last place I saw your smiling face back in 2000. BetsyBoo, I know its hard not to worry about your job, especially those who really depend on each paycheck. Just keep good thoughts and I'll keep you in my prayers that you will enjoy the position that you are given when your program ends. Also I'll remember your co-workers as well, and hope they don't get laid off. In our area a lot of teachers and school staff are losing their jobs because of a major budget deficit.
