The Spa at the Disney Institute is located right on the grounds of the Walt Disney World. Resort. Although the Institute is under construction now (to reopen in 2004 as the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa), the Spa is still open to guests.

General Information:

Facilities -- The Spa at the Disney Institute is located in the 38,000-square-foot Fitness Center, which also features a state-of-the-art fitness room with CYBEX® weight and cardiovascular equipment, indoor water exercise pool, and locker room areas—fully equipped with steam room, sauna, and indoor whirlpool. We suggest enjoying the steam room or sauna prior to indulging in our treatments. The Spa and Fitness Center are nonsmoking facilities.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Appointments: Appointments for spa treatments are suggested.
Call (407) 827-4455 for an appointment.

Age requirement -- Guests must be at least 14 to use the services at the Spa. Children 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, including in massage and treatment rooms.

Check in at The Spa at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment. Late arrivals will not receive extensions -- Guests will be charged 50% for treatments not canceled at least 4 hours in advance of appointment time. All no-shows are charged at full value.

Special Requests -- Guests may request a specific therapist or gender-specific therapist. There is no guarantee, but every attempt to honor your preference will be made.

Costs -- The current cost for each treatment is listed below. An 18% service fee will be added to all services. All prices subject to change.

Alcohol is not served or permitted in The Spa.

Transportation: Complimentary taxi vouchers are provided for Walt Disney World Resort Guests coming to The Spa at the Disney Institute. The Valet or Bell Services
at each resort will call a cab for Guests. (This is done by Luggage Shuttle at Disney's All Star Resorts.)
