Name of new AK e-ticket attraction

Disney has recently trademarked two names most probably for the upcoming E-Ticket attraction at AK:

1. "Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain"
2. "Expedition Everest"

I have read that Forbidden Mountain is slated to be added to the Asia section - or at least near by.

I have a friend who works at park management level at AK and got some info from him this evening when I saw him. Please remember that none of this is confirmed and I probably shouldn't even know this.

He said that an official announcement will be made on or around the 22nd. The new attraction will be out behind the current Asia attractions and that there has been some dirt moving going on. The attraction will NOT be an off-the-shelf coaster. It is all coming from the work of Disney Imagineering. The Asia extension will include plenty of room for additional growth.

I'm a little disappointed that Disney is opening yet another coaster--but I have to admit, that mountain will make a lovely back drop for Asia.

Inside the mountain? How about snow leopards, Yetis, and lost climbers?

More exciting news. Even an off the shelf coaster, like RnR was, can be made into something exciting with the Imagineering touch. This will be even better if it is custom made. Also, if it is custom made it could very well be the tamer type like Big Thunder Mountain. Nice thrills without killing your insides. We'll just have to watch it unfold like we did Mission Space. Hurray for Disney adding an eticket ride! Hope it brings them the success they are hoping for. :D
