Upcoming DVC: Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa

Here are a few artist renderings of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. It is currently being built in the space formerly occupied by the Disney Institute across from Downtown Disney. Pre-sales will probably start as soon as the Beach Club Villas are sold out (which could happen as soon as June, 2003). It should be open for business by Spring 2004.

The rumors (and thats all they are right now) suggest $88 - $90 per point for SSR. Only time will tell.

There was a nice article in Vacation Magic about Saratoga Springs - it looks like the pool will be very nice, with a slide and a waterfall.

It looks beautiful, but um, I live in the REAL Saratoga and I only wish it looked as luxurious, lol. I mean don't get me wrong, Saratoga is nice (busier than heck during track season), very clean and historic looking, and you just can't beat the Christmas Victorian Stroll, but I think when I vacation I'll take the tropics, lol :lol: Of course, I'll have to visit the new resort for authenticity sake - hey maybe I'll be waving out my office window in one of the pictures :wink:
